Fun fact: according to Alex Brightman, Fizzarolli is actually a caring person deep down, and he seems to be only putting on a role of disliking romance as he _is_ working in the Lust Ring's biggest place. Besides, looking at the way he and Ozzie act towards each other at times there's clearly more than just lust between them.
People have also theorized that the white markings on the half of Blitzo's face are scars and this episode confirms he didn't have them as a kid. The pictures also show him being very close with Fizzarolli when they were kids and teens, and _he_ has mechanic limbs made by Ozzie and he _really_ hates Blitzo. I wonder if they were involved in some sort of accident in the past...
@@jasonsmith6219 I wonder if his clown makeup and prosthetics (in addition to being the result of serious injury) allow him to hide his impish traits so he is not looked down on.
Notice also he used to have horns as huge as Blitzo’s but his jester hat is all floppy, which makes me wonder if he lost his horns when he lost his arms and legs, or if he cut them off himself.
@@stingerjohnny9951 That, and Ozzie isn't married and is the embodiment of lust, so Fizz having a bit of a thing going on with him while working for him in the "lustful lounge" I think fits the place's image.
@@jasonsmith6219 I think asmodeus gets a pass because 1, he's the demon of lust and presumably not married, and 2, because while still Ars Goetia he's a caste above Stolas as one of the 7 sins. Lord of a whole ring beats basically just generic upper class with a job that honestly seems like mostly ceremony.

The Asmodeus song is probably my absolute favourite in the series. Such a mean spirited and dirty song but it's so damn catchy. Expected nothing less from the embodiment of the deadly sin of lust

I love both of them but you can see why Blitz felt that way about Stolas. Neither of them handled their relationship perfectly but while its been months for us im sure Strikers comment of "starting with the one that treats you like a plaything" and Stolas' own "who dares touch my impish little plaything" are still on Blitz mind

Still at least Stolas is trying to change, and he doesn’t even hear himself and most of the times doesn’t even understand if he is doing smth wrong. While Blitzo is for sure knows that he is a B, but still deciding to be a B and hurts everyone around him because of his trauma and fears
To clarify a few things, Asmodeus is the ruler of the lust ring like how Lucifer is the ruler of pride ring, and Satan is the ruler of wrath and Mammon is the ruler of greed and so on. And it's if you missed it Stella moved out of the house and Octavia might too EDIT: If Stella forces her to go with her

If you look back at the photos, you can see Fizzaroli and Blitz when they’re both teenagers and when they were kids. If you notice, Fizzaroli was an actual imp before something happened that caused him to become a robot we know now. It’s also implied that both Fizzaroli and Blitz were actually friends before their falling out.
Fizzaroli isnt a robot. The robot we saw in episode 2 was a replica and this one is the original imp fizzaroli. I think both were from the same circus and blitz∅ "abandoned" his family and fizzaroli to try to make somethink more of himself (bodyguard, owner of a company etc) and fizzaroli ended up succeeding in life as a clown/jester
My theory is that something tragic happened on his last performance in the circus causing Fizzarolli to get robotic implants making him ditch his imp identity and possibly sending his sister to rehab for trauma possibly and maybe something happened to his mom as I would expect her to be there to watch her children perform maybe causing her death or something as bad

Asmodeus just happens to be one of the Seven Deadly Sins-one of the rulers of the Seven Rings of Hell, in this case, the Lust Ring. That means he's higher ranked than Stolas and second only to Lucifer and the Royal Family(Lilith and Charlie) in terms of status and power. This is one reason why Stolas didn't bite back at him for the mocking during the song.
To be fair, Stolas also just doesn't seem like the type to really bite back too much once he has been hit with cutting remarks like that. But Asmodeus rank probably made him stay quiet entirley.
Also, one of the few individual demons called by name in the actual Bible (well, the Septuagint canon, at least)
I don’t think Stolas could have truly defended himself even if it was someone the same standing as him or below him. It’s the same things he worries about and he does somewhat believe it. Plus, he also just generally is laidback and a pacifist so he doesn’t seem to get too upset to fight back.
Yeah Stolas is part of a royal bloodline, but Ozzie is the fallen angel Asmodel. I think he outranks.
@@donvoltonus8898 them both are fallen angels, both belong to Ars Goetia, Asmodeus just outrank Stolas in the two groups, he is one of the Kings of the Ars Goetia while Stolas is one of the princes, and Asmodeus is the Deadly sin of Lust.

just to point it out, Blitz has a lot of pictures in his house of everyone and if you look you notice that he marked himself out of them, this really shows a lot about his character and how he feels about having relationships with anyone

Wonderful song number, more glimpses into Blitzos broken mind and Stolas' broken family, and our adorable couple being their normal lovey-dovey selves!
I'll leave here this prediction of mine: at the end of the finale, Blitzo will have gone through some form of character development that will make someone (most likely Moxxie) say he is "one helluva boss" title dropping at the end

The last mention of Bliz’s sister was be Versocia, she said that the sister was in rehab - wonder what is the backstory with the fam
The fact Blitz stood up to Asmodeus, One of the 7 most powerful demons in hell below Satan himself who even Stolas was scared of, For Moxxie is nuts. Blitz's problem isn't being too cold and distant, It's being sentimental and overly attached to those around him to a faulty point of borderline obsession; To where he's frustrated and bitter that his love is not fully reciprocated.

It's sad to hear Stolas call Blitz by his name instead of Blitzy at the end when Blitz dropped him off home.
Considering how in the first part of the finale we saw Asmodeus, one of the representative of the 7 Deadly Sins, I wonder if next episode will have a cameo of the big boss.

@@donvoltonus8898 Beelzebub is probably lord of the gluttony ring and we know that in Hazbin/HB universe Lucifer and Satan are two different beings so Satan is probably the lord of the wrath ring.
For the lords of the sins they seem to be using the Lanterne of Light classifications so the total list seems like it might be:
Lucifer-Pride
Asmodeus-Lust
Leviathan-Envy(?)
Satan (Sathanas)-Wrath(?)
Beelzebub-Gluttony(?)
Mammon-Greed(?)
Belphegor-Sloth(?)
They've confirmed that Mammon and Beelzebub are beings in universe already but the rest are just guesses
Also Lucifer is the lord of the ring of pride AND the king of Hell itself as the Pride ring is supposed to be the worst/lowest one.

It's not said directly but it's most likely one of the purge angels.
The news demon with the X'd out eye is one of the demons from the opening song of Hazbin Hotel.
Also, something to notice. When Blitz returns home at the end, if you look at all the pictures on the wall, you'll see that he's scratched his own face out of all the pictures with him in it.
They aren’t demons
(direct copy and paste) One thing I saw someone point out in another reaction to this:
I think you overlooked a scene or two. Blitz, when Stolas was trying to talk to him, did eventually turn completely around once Stolas made it seem like he was interested in more than just sex. However, Stolas messed up because everyone was picking on him for being in love with an Imp. Then when Blitz looked to Stolas he hid his face in shame. Not just because he was ousted and called out for his adultery, but also because a part of him does think of Imps, and by association Blitz, as lower than him.
Even Stella in episode 2 was angry at him, but not for sleeping around in general, but for sleeping with an Imp. A lower class in hell. Even in the song Whackford asked if he was sleeping with an Imp, while being an Imp too. So, Stolas was essentially hiding from the shame of being with a lower class as well. We see bits and pieces of how Stolas treats Blitz. It’s not intentional and I’m sure if they just talked things out it could be addressed but he does talk down to Blitz a lot. Like saying his book shouldn’t be handed out to, “itty bitty Imps like yourself”. He often says Blitz is an Imp like he’s fetishizing him for being what he is too. Even the last episode he said “who dares threaten my impish little plaything”.
Blitz did try when Stolas seemed actually interested in what Blitz was doing, but he messed it up because he still had some prejudice as well. He just doesn’t know it. Watch back through all of the episodes. You can see breadcrumbs being left everywhere. Then, to add insult to injury, Moxxie and Millie have this very heartfelt moment where they accept each other completely. It’s like rubbing salt on an open wound for him. Stolas turned away when he was called out unlike Millie who just took those insults in stride and supported her partner. Both Blitz and Stolas are at fault in this case. Blitz did try though. You can see his expressions throughout. He was hoping for something more like what Moxxie and Millie have. Which is likely why he stalks them. That’s what I’ve seen at least.
Between this and the last episode, I can’t decide a favourite to be honest.
The second best episode of the show (lu lu land #1). When the pilot was released I didn’t expect to become so attached to these characters and I definitely didn’t expect to cry twice.
honestly, hellavu boss surpassed all my expectations. They deserve all the praise [and the money I'm gonna throw at them later].
Even two years since the first time I watched that episode and I still always get chills at the ending, crazy
Steve Dorian was one of the cleanup employees for the episodes, but he sadly passed away I believe after the first couple of episodes.
And since this is only Part One of this season finale, I sure hope Part Two will feature what Loona has been up to while Blitz is being humiliated at this club. Ozzie’s voice is also the voice of hellhound Tex, so perhaps we’ll see him again?
I want to see Luna at Tex's party so bad. I also want to see Barbie wire as well in part 2

Probably an incredibly unpopular opinion, but I think that that Blitzo is the antagonist of this episode. Not Verosika. Not Asmodeus. Not Fizzaroli. And I don't think Blitzo is really worthy of sympathy, here. Pity, but not sympathy.
Its like the hallucination of Moxxie said, Blitzo is desperate for acceptance, but he has no idea how to go about obtaining it. Ans in the end, his short sighted choices drive others away and make things worse than if he just stopped.
Blitzo is too emotionally insecure to admit he's envious of M&M. Which is why he tries to pretend(badly) that he's above having a relationship.
He emotionally manipulated Stolas into coming out with him, only to ignore him the entire time. Stolas was literally try to have a _normal conversation_ with him, but Blitzo was so wrapped up in his own need to selfishly live vicariously through M&M's relationship that he can't see that Stolas would like their relationship to be more than transactional fucking.
For this episode? I'm not gonna disagree . Them in general? Its half and half . They definitely CARE about each other but they've got too much going on to figure out what they want . Stolas being some "high" figure gives him hella roadblocks and makes him feel kinda weird about what he feels about Blitz while Blitz in general has alot of attachment and maaaaybe abandonment issues which is why he can't figure out how much intimacy he craves.
As if Stolas isn't the bad guy for legit using him for his body at first. Both are cunts

I agree. Blitzo really pissed me off in this episode which is why I didn’t feel any sympathy for him being embarrassed in front of everyone. He needs to learn selfishly imposing himself on M&M relationship has consequences. It was well deserved karma.
The smiling Character in the new papper is an Angel which was shown in the opening of Hazbin hotel. They come down once a Year to Execute Demons in hell, or just in the Ring that Lucifer rules which I think is Pride, which is also the Ring Hazbin Hotel take place in, as it been stated before that Sinners aren't allowed to leave the pride Ring like normal demons can do like Succubus, Imps, Incubus etc..

not sure how i feel about your thoughts on RoboFrizz cause, outside of Stolas's story, i think he was a cool antagonist to Blitzo since he was just another relationship gone south.
that and Alex Brightman did a fantastic job at he's voice and performance.
Of note, he had to be SPECIFICALLY PROGRAMMED to hate Blitzo. Like Fizz requested that his copies hate Blitzo as much as he does. Now that's hardcore pettiness.

Asmodeus is voiced by James Monroe Iglehart, who played the Genie in the original Aladdin Broadway show

This show has some serious star power behind it.
Episode 7 is one of my favorites, it's cool to see people react to it, I like to see their reaction, love this. I need to see what happens next. I hope Vivziepop makes the next episode soon, she is working on it but has not completed it yet, I wish her good luck.

Blitz lives vicariously through Mox and Millie because that’s what he wants but he knows he’s being used by Stolas. The last real family he had was with his two sisters, one of witch I personally think is dead and the other is MIA.
I watched this episode, at first, then numerous reactions, and this is the FIRST time I noticed that the mic Moxxie is singing into, when seen up close, is shaped like a small personal massager, a la the Hitachi Magic Wand. lol
The being in the newspaper is an exorcist, an angel that is sent from heaven to slaughter half of the population every year for population control. U see them in the intro of hazin while charlie is singing

10:07 that’s actually one of the angel’s required for hell’s annual extermination. The extermination is where a bunch of angels come down and kill a bunch of demons, said to keep the population of hell down.

The very last scene in the episode gives a lot about Blitz's character. On the wall, are pictures of horses. Blitz loves horses, there's at least one in every scene at HQ or in the van.
Then there are the photos he has on the wall. In every one of them, are people Blitz cares about, and in every single one, Blitz has used a marker to blot himself out. It's like he's taken everything and everyone he loves, surrounded himself with them all and removed himself from all of it.
Then there's the pictures on his phone. You saw the obvious ones, but the last two stand out. The first is of Blitz and Fizzirolli as children. Both are happy and Blitz is without the white markings that cover his face and body.
The last picture, is the biggest clue something bigger is going on with Blitz. It's of his mother, sister and himself. We know his sister is in rehab, but we don't hear much about his mother, except for her choker. Blitz wears it every day.
In every scene, he wears it on his collar... in this episode in particular, he wears it on his belt, a literal gut punch.
The character you are talking about is an exterminator angel: demonic looking angels that inhabit hell to cleanse it of evil once every extermination. This is only briefly mentioned in Hazbin Hotel and is the reason Charlie created the hotel in the first place. You’re welcome mate👍🏻.
That was the fallen angels that once a year to kill the sinners. They were shown in Hzbin Hotel Pilot.
Some details I’ve noticed:
The last four imps in the pictures all have forehead markings, so they’re related. The mother (whose name is Tilla because of a poster in the pilot) is wearing a brooch which Blitzø always wears with his suit, so this is absolutely someone important even if we can’t prove it’s his mother, but Blitzø is young in the picture, and so is his sister, so they must’ve been born in hell, hence why they bare their mother’s forehead mark. Fizzarolli, who’s in the former two of the last three pictures, also bares this marking and his current costume has a heart over his forehead which blocks this marking from view.
My theory, considering Blitzø’s reaction to the picture, is that he caused a freak accident which destroyed his family dynamic-hence why Fizzarolli makes fun of Blitzø every chance he gets and is mostly robotic, (and yes the real Fizzarolli is the one we saw in this episode) hence why we don’t see his mother, and hence why Barbie Wire is in rehab.

This was a really emotional episode
The song is catchy as hell, pun intended, but man does thos episode breaks my heart
Honestly the song is actually on par or even better than stolas song from episode 2 and we finally see the lust ring and the return of Verosika Mayday date and the real Fizzarolli
I'd say it's equal. It is to an upbeat number what "You will be okay" was to a heartfely lullaby. I don't think it's even fair to compare them, as the songs are both trying to evoke very different feelings.

Asmodeus has one of the best songs so far. However, the episode raises a question about Hell itself: presumably there are seven rings, for the seven deadly sins, but Katy Killjoy referred to NINE circles in the Hazbin Hotel pilot.

I'm honestly expecting Blitz to catch wind of another assassination attempt, save Stolas and at least we'll end the season with their relationship being somewhat better than before but still a little bittersweet. But who knows, this is just my wishful thinking.
Maybe the d.h.o.r.k.s agents will be a season 2 plot, it's too good for a one episode setup before a season 1 finale, they'd have more time to develop it in season 2 so I'm hoping they go that route.
@@LoreCatan I think Blitz won't be able to save Stolas but will get comforted by IMP. I think its a better ending personally because every episode imo (except for 4 but we don't talk about that one) has been about developing IMP as a whole. Not just Blitz but also Moxxie, Loona and even Millie a bit.
