Once in a while, you come across a piece of media that perfectly encapsulates where you are in that particular moment of your life. This is one of those. Thank you, Jack.
This resonates with me about how anxiety attacks feel like. How you tend to lose your grasp on how to deal with all the stressors in your life. Sometimes they all suddenly pile up into a intimidating mess. What to do? Where do start? What if this never ends? Scrambling to find solutions without rationality and failing. Only then after you breathe, remind yourself that you're still you, and that you're still here due to countless situations that proved how resilient you were and still are, do you find that rationality to grasp the right course of action- step by step do things get better once again.
This could be interpreted by many ways but my interpretation is that this is how it feels like to have a panic attack everything is loud and you freak put completely sometimes you shut down (take it with a grain of salt)
This is beautiful. Your artistry captures the irrational fear of anxiety perfectly, and conveys how self healing works flawlessly. If you ever read this, I want you to know how much these videos have helped me. Thank you 💕

Trying to find the answer around you, blaming the things around you for not working, afraid of what you can't control... But all you have to do is look what is wrong with yourself and fix it.
The only things we can change in life are internal. Our problems can be solved by looking inside ourselves. When the world seems hectic and unchanging just reach inside and you'll find peace

This might sound weird but have a theory. Sometimes people with anxiety (such as myself) experience a mental phenomenon called 'sensory overload'. The name is pretty self explanatory. Every thing is loud and confusing like the buttons and the machinery noises. So the man has to experience the confusion until his emotions shut down and go numb like radio static. But the unsavory radio static is better than the overload. Or I am projecting myself onto an animated character without a name because I am sad.

Okay, this set design is amazing, the clay figure is amazing, everything to the way you chose the sounds of the machinery to the crys from the man is amazing, i love how short and simple this video was along with its story. We dont know much about anything in the world that this takes place in, inturn it puts a layer of unknowingness to the whole video. I just love this so much and it reminds me of something.
I think it’s interesting that the *name* of the animation can be interpreted a few ways. Will, as in the name of our character here. OR. Will, as in the will or willpower to resist the crushing pressures of the world and instead choose to adjust what can actually be modified-your own perspective and attitude.
It's quite easy to understand. This is a person who just realized there's too much going on around him, not the way they want it to, and they want to change it, but can't. Yet, you can be the change yourself. You just need the WILL to do so.
i think it is up for interpretation but i feel like the message that he is putting out is that you can artificially make your self "happier" with drugs and things of that nature. But in the end, everything wrong in your life will just keep going on you will just be blind to it.
I'm scared. When I see something disturbing and that disturbing thing gives off the vibe of panic, I panic. Even though I don't have any reason to panic. Like this video made me feel like I was in danger but when the dude calmed down I calmed down too.

Me: skips ad
Also me: *_regretting skipping because it gives ad revenue to get him more clay_*
edit: this is my 2nd most popular comment on yt lol, glad it's on a vid like this
@MARCHELO 👌
Why is that nessessarily a bad thing?
Don't they get the money anyway even if you skip it? Cause otherwise nobody would be making money on here. I think as long as the ad pops up and you watch until you can skip it counts.
Yingani it does not. Skipping a video brings no money to the producer.
@@MikeyTWilliams Then how does anyone make money off of ad revenue? Nobody sits and watches those ads.
You can only control what you can control. A simple message portrayed with just art. You're a spectacular storyteller, Jack. Keep up with good work.
*in extreme confusion and panic*
Thanks Jack, very cool!
can't say I enjoyed it but I'm glad it exists

I think it’s interesting that the *name* of the animation can be interpreted a few ways.
Will, as in the name of our character here.
OR.
Will, as in the will or willpower to resist the crushing pressures of the world and instead choose to adjust what can actually be modified-your own perspective and attitude.

Why not both?
D The Australian I like the way you think.

@@DTheAustralian cause i've never met a William who has will, then again i haven't met anyone named William but my point still stands.

It's quite easy to understand.
This is a person who just realized there's too much going on around him, not the way they want it to, and they want to change it, but can't.
Yet, you can be the change yourself.
You just need the WILL to do so.
IT'S QUITE EASY you dumbasses
i think it is up for interpretation but i feel like the message that he is putting out is that you can artificially make your self "happier" with drugs and things of that nature. But in the end, everything wrong in your life will just keep going on you will just be blind to it.

I'm scared. When I see something disturbing and that disturbing thing gives off the vibe of panic, I panic. Even though I don't have any reason to panic. Like this video made me feel like I was in danger but when the dude calmed down I calmed down too.

if this guy and bill wurtz collabed they'd make a funny yet creepy video like this one.
This is such an underrated comment
They have a similar consistency despite having very different vibes.
I THOUGHT THE SAME!!;;
Bill is more of the early 2000’s vibe like animation on windows xp and jack is more like vhs era stuff
Jack and bill have the same feel but different styles so it would give us a mixed bag of just weird that I would love
OH AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW GOOD THE MUSIC WOULD BE
