Kevin that the hurricane goes counterclockwize is because the atlantic ocean is east from Florida, and it comes from the south. It is building up speed and WATER as long as it is above the ocean. Then it goes landinwards and start unloading his water. As that eye not is moving,it will recharge the clouds again with the moist that forms above the warmer water. And in the center of the eye, there is a very low airpressure, that makes it easier to lift up the moist from above the ocean and charge up the clouds again. I hope you understand what i am trying to axplain. It is very basic when you know the working of a hurrica/tropical storm. Take care for yourself and be and stay safe. Gr from Spain
I left Jacksonville Fl Sunday am stopped in Polk City Fl got up Monday am for pickup in Mulberry Fl then back to Jacksonville and was in heavy rain and wind the whole trip, been thru hurricanes and tropical storms lots of time and have done hurricane relief after the storms too
Glad you're being safe Kevin I've been out of work for almost 2 weeks with a sprained ankle. I was strapping a load in my trailer and my foot slipped off the bumper
Kevin, you missed your calling, you should’ve been a weatherman, you’re a natural. Well, maybe anyway you guys stay safe out there rubber side down shady side up.👍✌️
When I was driving there was a hurricane crossing south Texas, I sent dispatch a massage saying 115 mph winds blowing the truck all over. Response was you'll be there on time rite? 2 weeks later I quit that company
@@SeanMcGee-h3v Well…depends on what it is and where it’s going. This is lawnmowers to a warehouse. Not a heart transplant. So, yeah…it needs to wait. 😆🤩
I can say you pretty much covered everything. I lived in south west Florida for 11 years and we delt with Irma. It took out many trees of live oak and slash pines. And my neighbor helped so much by throwing his branches over the fence and only know that is because the branches had been cut by a chainsaw. That was OK because with my tractor and the set of forks I could haul them to the road. The guy I bought my tractor from also had a landscape business and he sent 2 guys over to help with the big stuff. We were the only ones without power for a week. We left and when we got to Ocala my wife's jeep had about run out of gas. So we had to leave it until we made our way back
Kevin you’re as cool as a cucumber, I was supposed to be in Tampa up until August 2 I would’ve missed it but I’m here at home in Pennsylvania due to a injury to my ankle, I guess Tanya is not with you? Please stay safe and God bless you and your family. Steven from Pennsylvania signing out.
Last Wednesday, about a week ago, we had 85 mph winds sweep through Omaha Nebraska. There were reports of semi-trucks flipped over on their side. What would you do as a trucker in that situation? Would you pull over and get out? I'm considering going OTR, but that kinda freaked me out.
😊solo 😂joy.of trucking. Yes in Gainesville fl not intense 😬. Lucky Gainesville. Arrive alive . Tampa whos working on Monday canceled schools around here . 😊😂 joy
Got a question for ya'll. I would like an honest answer. I can take a punch ! haha. Love your vids by the way. I have recently retired from the medical field. When I was a lot younger I used to drive, but I was married and she wanted me around the house more often. So I left and went to school for the medical field. After a wonderful 27 year career I finally retired from hospital and since she is no longer around I would like to get back to trucking. OTR not local. Now here is the million $ question. I am 67 years old and quite healthy, have my DOT physical. Will a company hire someone my age? I know you might say it is discriminating but come on. they will find some reason not to hire. Another thing is I don't want to spend all that money for a school and not being able to get hired on. Be safe out there
@@michaeldavenport5034 It’s sad that some people are steeped in negativity. They think putting others down will make them feel better. But it doesn’t work that way. Maybe some of our positive attitude will eventually run off on him. 😉😁🤞
