My XGIMI projector produces vivid and smooth images, very impressed!
Same...I have a 135" screen and Denon 5.2 setup right now hooked up to the Horizon Pro 4k and my family loves it. Crystal Clear picture, vivid colors and very nice Android interface and smart features. We have hooked up a Blu Ray Player, Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5 to it and all of the content has worked flawlessly. Considering this projector is less than 2k..it's an amazing value for the quality IMO.

How can I get my Roku ultra to override the Android os? I'm plugging the Roku into a Samsung sound bar, then running an HDMI back to the projector. The soundbar should pass it through but I'm not seeing any way to use roku
There is light trail above and below the curtain. how do you adjust it.. the image is on the screen 16-9 but there is light at the top and bottom

When you first see image can you tell it’s coming from a projector? Is a tv image better ? Tv same size preferred?
Does it have horizontal and vertical lens shift? Will it be enough to place it one meter to the left of the centre? On the other hand, is the keystone true that it decreases the image quality? Thank you
can i use this device in asia or where wifi is not good if i am mostly using it to play movie files mkv and mp4 on a external hard drive
Your video show some artifacts in the picture, like pixel shifts or some part of the picture moves away for a second... that is normal? or its your unit review or the render video youtube. you can se in some parts of the video like runtime 17:09 . About the auto 24p refresh. its always locked at 60hrz? if i play some bluray movie it will change to 24?

I just received mine and for some reason it doesn't look sharp nor crisp. I already played with the settings and still the same after the update.

No need for bulb, the LED last longer than you need. The lamp can be used for 25000h.

Your projecter was placed 10ft away, what inch did it show on your screen.. 55inch?
you get 100 inches, 10ft divided by throw which is 1.2.
Doesn't keystoning by default wreck the native resolution, would've figured a non-recommendation for that feature
It's explained in the video.
what is the minimum throw distance to focus and image size ?
Throw ratio is 1.2. For example, if the distance between screen and projector is 1.2, the wide of screen is 1m.

Has anyone tried the 3D function yet? and if so What glasses do you recommend. I tried with some glasses from Amazon and they didn't work
I would also like to know this none of the reviews I've seen talk about the 3D which is a must have when buying my next projector.

Maximum almost 300 inch, fot that large size you may see the pixels.

No 3D, not even on the Horizon 1080p model. That's a major issue for me.
It does have 3D.
@@therealshanelee Where? I have just completed setting mine up and have the latest firmware update but I can find no option for viewing in 3D.
Edit: In someone else's video, I could see the update notice for v2.1.64 that claims 3D has been added and I verified I have that exact update on my Horizon but I still cannot find the option anywhere is the settings. I thought that perhaps it changes to 3D automatically when the source is 3D so I ran an SBS and a TB movie through it but still nothing.
2nd edit: The initial 2.1.64 update had bugs so they pulled it pending a fixed rerelease. That took place 2 days ago and now everyone has access to working 3D.
@@PBCaurillac how do you like this projector? And how is the quality of it watching 1080p content on it? Any good?
@@sxiong13 I definitely like it although my previous Xgimi H3 was better. The 1080p picture is very good on default settings but can be improved by going into settings > image mode > custom. From there you can play with the advanced settings and see the results in real time.
For the moment, I have only a few complaints about the Horizon:
1) firmware updates are difficult to get hold of. For some unknown reason, they download to a few while most receive a message saying their firmware is up to date. For example, last week v2.1.64 was finally downloaded which provided 3D support. Since then, there has been a v2.1.67 which almost nobody ever received and now a v2.1.68. I know of only 2 people that managed to download this latest version. The company's FB group dedicated to the Horizon model shows everyone else complaining their projector claims its firmware (v2.1.64) is up to date.
2) Google voice control stopped working on mine. I'm hoping this will be solved on the next update.
3) Screensaver choice is awful and you cannot install a 3rd party live wallpaper version unless you change the default launcher.
4) 3D support is limited to SBS and TB versions in MKV or MP4 format. If you attempt to play an ISO of a full Bluray, you will have no access to the movie's menu so the projector defaults to the 2D version.
5) The default mouse is rubbish. It moves in X and Y axes only and it moves very slowly. The only way to get around this is to buy a 3rd party air mouse.
I have other minor issues with this projector but overall I would say it is very good and, provided it lasts (my H3 died after only 15 months), it will be an excellent addition to any home. In fact, given the choice between an OLED TV and this smart TV projector, I would take the projector any day! The huge screen provides a truly immersive experience which you cannot get from a TV unless you are prepared to pay heavily for a very large one.

You failed to mention that this projector does not have a bulb replacement and is a useless paperweight after the 1 year warranty expires. Official response from XGIMI when I asked about replacing my bulb. "Hey, this is Georgina from XGIMI tech support department, it will be a pleasure to assist you today regarding your concern. We do not sell nor suggest changing the bulb on a XGIMI projector. We can gladly check if your device is still within our 1-year warranty and provide a replacement if applicable."
Wow! That is a major deal breaker. Is this the situation you have found yourself in?
You don't change bulbs on any LED projector. Its also rated for 20k hours, under normal usage it would take decades to exhaust the light source.

I never connect my TV to the internet, I don't use apps and never waste my data on streaming so this is a huge fail. My pitbulls would trash the thing right off the tripod
