I live just in a studio so a projector is not needed it would be overkill. But this one seems very good had I lived in a house I'll definitely get it. Good review and cool video Ron!👍
This projector is the real deal. I bought this for a gaming event I run just outside Berlin and the quality is unbelievable showing a superb 150" 4K image. It supposedly supports up to 300", but we didn't have the space to test that. It's also worth noting that it runs Stadia perfectly, so I just turn it on without any input sources attached and I have my 120+ Stadia game library accessible to me in 4K. Incredible... and we didn't notice any lag either! I'm also very picky about remotes and I love this minimalistic remote. Really the only drawback is that it doesn't support Netflix natively, which is a real bummer, but we probably all have a bunch of devices that can play Netflix off them, so it's just a minor and stupid inconvenience. Maybe I'll do my own review for my channel as well when I'm back at the event venue, a repurposed train station.
How are the black levels though?
@@davo01BKK The massive room I used can never get completely dark as it was next to a train platform with no curtains in the windows, so I could never really test that.

I am still using lg pf1500 1080p led projector , had it for years and never had to change the bulb I'll be getting a 4k led projector soon to upgrade

If you want to carry it, be sure to buy the official case, which costs extra. We made this mistake and had to wait a few days before we could transport it safely to new locations... and it's scary carrying such an expensive piece of tech without protection. 😕

I was doubting when i ordered mine like 2 years ago because i tried $200 projector i though it be the same but man i was way wrong. Very impressive short throw and color vibrant, i recommend a gray screen so that the colors be more deep, i have the white screen and day time light can wash out a bit but my wall color is gray and it washes out less, ALR screen a must its worth the investment
They are if you can set it up directly in front from an angle up towards the screen. I sell these they are amazing products nothing compares to these products and if they do they only can rival them on one part not everything.

Hi Madlittlepixel, I really enjoyed your review of this projector. In fact, I was even thinking of purchasing one for myself.
I do have one question though, The screen that I'm going to be purchasing is about 200 inches to cover the whole wall. I have the necessary throw distance but at that size, will the projectors image be dim or will the quality of the image decrease a lot ? Once again, thanks for the great review of the projector
I sell these in person!! They Only work up to 150 Inches before you will get quality loss the Pro is the 4k version and can achieve 4k to 150 Inches. That is a TV size so they measure the length from corner to corner. If you want any more information message me we ship and have a one-year warranty on the product. How's the fan noise?
Ah sorry didnt mention it, but its not very loud. I really couldnt hear it using the built in speakers or my own speakers. Now if I am like a foot away from it and everything is quiet I can kind of hear it. But not bad at all in my opinion.

this isn't a high end 4k projector by far its the low end of the line XGIMI Line the high end is XGIMI Aura for $2500 an if you watch them side by side the Aura is was the extra cash
That's twice the price, the horizon pro is £1200 in the uk, the Aura is £2400.
@@JohnSmith-ef8nr not in the U.S. the pro is 1899 an the aura is 2500 an the1080p version is 1099 which im sure is the one your talking bout cause i cant find a pro online period for 1200 in the US or in the UK please share a website if what you state is true...
@@bennettaintinit3095 I bought it for £1275 last November on Amazon, dropped from £1799. With both full price the Aura is £600 more, doubt difference is pic quality is worth that and when both discounted the Horizon is nearly £1k cheaper. Far greater value for money with how good the Horizon pic quality is.

@@bennettaintinit3095 Yeah but if you're smart, you'll get the horizon on a deal. Can't knock 1k in your pocket for that quality of 4k. If you're gonna spend nearly 3k on a projector, may aswell save a bit longer and get into the realm of the lower tier high end projectors at the £4-4.5k+ price point.
After one year, it will not work, just red light flash. no power.
Not really the best who puts usb 2.0 on a projector you call 4k cant even watch 1080p without buffering let alone 4k format 😂
