his voice cracked when he said he only heard his dad play once. dang
25 years of Howard asking Dave about his origin story. I'm still watching every vid though.
It's the same process psychologists use with longtime patients. If you didn't already know Howard was in psychoanalysis, his interviews with frequent guests would be his tell.
Hahaha
Ditto! 🤘
Hahahaha.... Same.
I would listen to DG talk about anything. Anything.
Wouldn’t we all?
fresh pots?
@@Citadel1974 FRESH POTTTTTT!
So could he
OK, I'm sold. I'm definitely buying his book.
Imagine if he narrated it, would be so good
@@PeterPaoliello but there will be an audiobook with him narrating the stories
Use to see him around Pioneer Square back in the day. Very nice guy.
The desire to prove your dad wrong, and also gain acceptance from your Dad too can create a drive in a man, that is unstoppable.
That's very true, if you dad is worth proving wrong.
@@megaexidor it can have the opposite, effect too, where the kid takes what his dad says to heart and breeds a large amount of resentment.
@@joekelley5121 completely yes, I have a few close friends, that have been and are tormented, by the very thing.
@@megaexidor I know how they feel, and it can last a lifetime.
I knew Mr. Grohl. He lived in Niles, OH and wrote for a local paper here. Nice man.
He is such a great engaging storyteller, no wonder he wrote a book.
What a wonderful human being
I agree, Howard is such a great person.
I’m so excited to read Dave’s new book. I could listen to him tell stories forever.
Man, if I don't love dave
I love how Dave can talk over Howard so you can actually listen to his answers.
Your dad is genius. 💟
Dads know best that something is too good for lasting. 💟
Solid Musician
Love The Foo Fighters
Kinda sad how the relationship changed when he got famous parents should love their kids unconditionally at least things worked out
What makes you think his Dad did not love him?
His relationship changed because he proved his dads views wrong.
Howard is the best still
"I only heard him do it once"🥺
Really liked the vma 2021 performance
🌻Me either Dave heeheehe jk my Dad still say there's time left for me too💜🎵. 😸 Love + light beautiful ones xx🌈🎃
He got really emotional.
Howard has really managed to change his image.
♾❤🤟😁
This is a really sad story…
How?
@@jacobkramer42 Wasn't sad to me.
Eames chair.
Instead it lasted a year and some change.
Conan we love but he wasn’t the best guest. It’s Dave. Hands down.
All he had to do was sell his soul to Babylon
2nd?
I love Dave but wish someone would call him out on the "3 hour concert" BS he always claims. He talks for half the show to save his voice and so he can say he plays that long. Look at the number of songs on the setlist and do the math.
First
Dave said his father was a trip, and only he would know,,,I wonder if Dave ever took acid around his father,oh what a trip that would be....
Well, it wouldn't if it wasn't for Kurt Cobain. Later when you create a name, it gets very easy.
And it shouldn't have. He's one of the most generic sounding singers in one of the most generic sounding bands of the recent past. Foo Fighters stink.
Better hurry up. You'll be late for.your shift at Burger King. What do you listen to that's so great? C'mon. Let's hear this.....
Na they got some bangers!
@@sdc6447 Nah, it's Wendy's. And I listen to Lawrence Welk and any good polka music. Thanks for your concern
Dave Grohl is everywhere. And every song sounds the same
