Agreed! Those bathrooms are new at Þingvellir and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them. The Panorama Lodge is stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there and plan to go back.
This was such a treat. That bakery, though. I'm so greedy, I didn't even know what the items were called but still would have been like *pointing* that one right there. Lol. The waterfalls were so lovely. I love a good hike and Iceland is so lovely. I can't wait to visit some day. Thanks!

I was there in February 2019 and everything was covered in ice and snow. It’s amazing to see all these amazing places with all their beautiful colours.
Hi Jewells, love you channel. My sister and I did a 9 day self drive tour of Iceland in 2011 and after years of international travel it is still one of my favorite trips. We stayed at an inn and the owner.baked this fresh molasses bread and gave us extra and that sustained us for the entire trip. Do you know what that bread is called, she said every Icelandic woman makes it...lol
Iceland is so unspoilt raw nature! I loved it! And it is really a beautiful country to explore ! There is much more than the Golden circle and all places are so unique. My number 1 destination! And I travelled to all corners of the world :-) - Well there is still New Zealand to explore ... When COVID-19 is gone!! -

I’m a black woman in OR in a town where people who look like me are less than 1 percent and it makes me so happy to see black women living, loving, and thriving I spaces where being a minority can be a challenge. I kind of feel like my current living situation is preparing me for when I do travel . You’re super beautiful and lovely to listen to, thank you for sharing your life with us it is a blessing and so inspiring🌸💚 Also, all of the scenery and nature spots are my dream environment to live in. I really have to visit!
Wow. I love so many things. The Friðheimar Greenhouse & Restaurant (I love food, the breads and the soups look delish, plus how cool that place is, plus it is warmth inside...it can't get better than that. I love the crater , the geysers, that lodge is so fab. But my favorite has to be the Brúarfoss Waterfall. Your face against it! It looked like a postcard. Just magical!!
OMG, those bakery treats! And the landscape is phenomenal, especially Gullfoss waterfall . I also now know the etymology of the word "geyser"! It's an Icelandic word! :) As an aside: I can't believe people trample (and poop in) nature. People can sometimes be awful. Jewells, thank you for taking me on this adventure! Some people's idea of paradise include warm weather and ocean surf. Mine is everything you've shown here. Maybe it's the geologist in me but l am smitten with the geysers, waterfalls, eroded red rock and adjacent tectonic plates among other beauties Iceland offers. You make a fantastic tour guide. Your love of the country is so obvious....and contagious.

Thank you for this video. I appreciate how much you stress the importance of respecting the nature there, taking your trash with you, and not taking any of the rocks and stuff with you. I am excited to visit in 23 days 😬. I plan on visiting the Viking Museum, Blue Lagoon, and snowmobiling on a glacier. I also plan to visit the vegan store, and maybe go whale/puffin/nature watching. There was a recent article on DNA sequencing of "Vikings" that dispute these claims. It was a heterogenous group of people from different areas around the world that was initiated into the group through various means.

If you once have the opportunity to see those waterfalls (and SO so so many others) you will be astonished!! The camera does not do it justice! Gullfoss is HUGE !! And that is no fake news ;-) And there are more and bigger and higher. The size of it all will make you feel troll-ish ;-) And there is more more and even MORE! The glaciers.. the Iceberg lakes.. the black lava beaches... The basalt hexagonal rocks... the seals and whales... the polar foxes and reindeer (if you are lucky).. and more!

Wow awesome, really beautiful scenery. I live in NZ and we also have geysers and thermal activity great but as you said it means you are on an active earthquake area :D oh well other people have tornados or tsunamis. I love how you have embraced this environment.
