  • Joes amazing Tomahawk PZL-104 Wilga with a Moki 250 Radial engine, The scale detail is amazing on this plane, he put alot of time into it, and it shows. It was awesome to finally see it in person. Thanks Joe!

    WiKi:
PZL-104 Wilga (golden oriole) is a Polish short-takeoff-and-landing (STOL) civil aviation utility aircraft designed and originally manufactured by PZL Warszawa-Okęcie, and later by European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), who had acquired the original manufacturer during 2001.
First flown on 24 April 1962 and entering service during the following year, the Wilga has evolved through many ever-improving versions during its continuous production from 1962 to 2006. The type was largely used by civil operators; those military air services that did fly the type typically used it as a trainer and liaison aircraft. In excess of 1,000 aircraft were produced prior to European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) announced on their website that production of the Wilga would cease in 2006.

With a bit less throttle and slower throttle operation it would be completely undistinguishable from the real Wilga - bot the looks and the sound and also how it flies. Great machine !

Are we seeing a sneak peak of Draco X model that Mike Patey is working with Horizon on!*? Sure sounds like a Draco X, whatever it will be.
Sharing that slow flight as it cast a shadow on the ground is much appreciated!

Draco is based off a Wilga 2000, totally different animal of Wilga, excited to see what he does this time!

Yeah buddy, I'm excited too. Knowing him, 6 months or less and the real Draco please stand up, and fly maybe vertically.

@@JohnVHRC Me to - I was so sad when seen its faith. Even small damage on model like this would be the end for me - but Mike is on roll again..
And that "Scrappy" project looks equally exciting ..
Thanks for this John - the sound of that Moki is amazing - I hope to be able to hear it for real once ..
