    Why we practice the Giant Stride Entry Scuba, what is the value:
    You can use the Giant Stride Entry Scuba to perform a safe deep water entry. The Giant Stride Entry is especially effective going into the water from an elevated ledge, like a large boat or dock.
    How to organize the Snorkel to Regulator Exchange demonstration for the PADI IDC Skills circuit:
    Perform this skill demonstration in water too deep in which to stand. Place your scuba diving students in a straight line or half a circle in front of you. Stand on the side and perform the IDC and Divemaster Skill circuit.
    Tips for the Giant Stride Entry Scuba demonstration skill:
    1. Perform it slowly
    2. Don't jump, but take a large step forward
    3. Keep your regulator in your mouth when you surface, first inflate the BCD
    4. Turn underwater so that you face your students when you surface

    Love these simple, clear and quick video snips! I’ve seen a few of your other videos that also incorporate this skill but it’s nice to see it isolated here as well.

      Yeah, we thought some people just want to find a specific skill and not watch a full video :)

      Hi, Yes that is style you don't have to. But I do it also most of the times, just not in this video. There is a big OK in the end do :)

    there is no switching to the snorkel anymore?

    • @MarcelVanDenBerg1
      @MarcelVanDenBerg1  3 года назад +1

      Hi Rene, yes, but not a standard. There was something wrong with the footage, so we had to cut it before switching to the snorkel. At least my regulator was still in :) We are planning to reshoot this skill soon and will add the switching to the snorkel.

      @@MarcelVanDenBerg1 Thanks, in my opinion it makes more sense to hold the reg in, because most of the times, there will be no snorkeling after the entry. I like your videos, watching them to learn for my DM course
