One year after being rescued, Mowgli looks happy and healthy! What do you think of Mowgli's story?

We are glad too, Pastelle. Sloth bears are among the most vulnerable creatures, threatened by habitat loss and capture; Mowgli's journey is very inspiring!

In other words once they provided him with bare necessities he forgot about his worry and his strife?

What a cute and lively furry little creature. Very sorry to learn about the death of its mother due to the greed of certain individuals. It's very fortunate that it was found on time. Glad to see it's growth progressing positively. Thanks for sharing National Geographic.

Species Melursus ursinus (also known as the Labiated Bear) is the only extant member of the Genus Melursus, a genus within the Ursinae subfamily of Bears. An insectivorous bear endemic to India and Sri Lanka, the IUCN lists M. ursinus' conservation status as Vulnerable.

Yeah, it's sad that he can't get back to the wild, where he belongs, but at least he is healthy and alive. I mean, some humans did an amazing act for te bear, while others took his nature away, and almost killed him... thanks to those people who believe in wildlife and care for it. Thank you.

I think it's horrible that people keep killing animals for trading in the black market. Makes me sick to my stomach.
