First service HONDA CRF300Rally after 12.000 kilometers. El Salvador 🇸🇻 |S6-E59|

  • In this episode I am riding to the capital of El Salvador: San Salvador. I have to go here because my Honda CRF300L Rally needs her first big service. In the last 12,000 kilometers I managed to break a couple of things (mostly because of crazy sea crossings in tiny boats) and some parts simply got worn after so much abuse...

I am a new subscriber and so glad I found YOU and your many adventures. I am in awe of your daring spirit. No clue how you go day to day all over the world, be it pavement or dirt road/trail. I spent 20 yrs as an over-the-road Truck Driver and have seen millions of miles setting on top of an 80,000 lbs. big rig. You do it on a DIRT BIKE - OMG! Nothing but respect for your spirit/talent and pure guts bringing us ALL along to actually see/witness the beauty and wonder this World has to offer. Above all, be SAFE.

I'm so happy that Alaska has gotten her well deserved service. The new mirrors and leg are pretty, too. Perhaps not as cool as the other mirrors, but they will do the job, until you get to another country, where you can find the same mirrors you had before. The freedom of riding is one of the best tings in life!

When she did these maintenance videos before everyone used to say, “do it yourself” or “ you didn’t need to do that maintenance for a while yet” she can afford it and she has peace of mind that its fixed or it has new chain/ or wheel bearing’s so who cares! Good job and i hope the rest of your travels are just as fun and carefree as they have been so far! Always a joy to watch your videos!

It's a little sad that many of these roads, which are considered secondary or arterial roads, are in such poor condition. I understand that some of these countries do not have the resources to maintain these roads, much less to upgrade them....But the landscape of many of these countries is spectacular, and should draw more tourist activity. Thank you, Noraly, for navigating these "charming" back roads, so we don't have to!
