AVAA: Great vid and pics! One quibble about Alchemist's ceiling. I'm not sure anyone on this list has made a better beat than Johnny P's Caddy in the past few years (or at the very least it's a high ceiling to match). That is a true classic beat IMO, hits so hard on so many registers.
AVAA and I mean that, I found this channel through the recent beef as so many probably did but wow this is amazing. Thank you so much for these videos, it’s so refreshing to see someone talk about this artform that I love in this way.
I know tyler the creator hasn't been very active recently but definitely deserves a spot. Great list nevertheless.
AVAA. James Blake deserves a mention, I know he's been around for over a decade but I still get more excited to hear his production than anyone else other than maybe Peggy. He had some credits on Erick the Architect's album that just came out, it seems to be getting surprisingly little critical attention but Parkour and 2-3 Zone are easily my favourite produced tracks so far this year. And War Ready by Vince Staples was produced by Blake and is a contender for best production of the 2010s for me

AVAA but Right now? Right now Right now? Only counting people currently dropping Alchemist, Hit Boy, Conductor, Kaytranada, Pharrell. But if Flying Lotus or Knxwledge drop they back on the list. Not to mention the fact that the production on my upcoming album is completely unique to my own sound and absolutely slaps with many intricate interesting melodies abd textures, it will be one of the best produced albums of '24.

AVAA. First time watcher. Cool list. You should check out the albums Roc Marci produced since 2020. I'm sure he would have made this list if you did. Delgado with Flee Lord is his magnum opus production wise.
AVAA. I love your baseball talk, I love he fact that you can literally get paid for a game where you stand around and do nothing. Also, the greatest producer tag is WhoTheHellIsCarlo, which is just hank hill saying "WHO THE HELL IS CARLO?"

Had to come back to this comment and let you guys know that Pharrell produced sweet honey bucking from Beyoncé Cowboy Carter, and the production of bucking part is literally my fav of the entire album. I stand by my list

- I would love to include William Hutson and Jonathan Snipesfrom from clipping. I cannot wait for their next work but it has been a while since they've put music out. Also I cannot understand the love for Alchemist, I hate his beats with a passion, I find them so boring that I feel he ruins albums/artists for me.

AVAA! re pi'erre bourne, he just has criminally bad taste when it comes to the rappers he chooses to work with. i also suspect that his very hi-fi styling is such a clash with what carti wanted for wlr that it went against one of his core principles, which is that all his work is consummately, conventionally professional in terms of mixing/mastering. also totally agreed on muggs being the most underrated producer going; everyone seems to have forgotten his work with cypress hill and some of the b-sides he's done with armand hammer are absolutely amazing!

Je pense que tous les producteurs présents sur 24 de La Fève l'année dernière nous ont vraiment donné un album brillament produit (que ça soit Kosei, Lyele, Tarik Azzouz, FREAKEY!, Zaytoven, D1gri et quelques autres)
Silvan que j'ai découvert sur le dernier album de Bob Marlich, Les Points Sur L'Haÿ (que je vous recommande fortement d'écouter) et qui a aussi produit Jour De Pluie de Rim'K
Keyser Soze sur plusieurs sons de La Cassette de Duke Mobb et sur le dernier album de NobodyLikesBirdie est très fort pour les prods Trap.
GRËJ, même si je ne l'aime pas forcément en tant que rappeur je trouve que c'est un excellent producteur de jazz rap/Boom Bap (écoutez Huggy Les Bons Tuyaux)
