This is how it used to be. Back in the 80s my grandad and his buddies would sit on the front porch and drink coffee, talking politics and weather. They were a mix of Democrats and Republicans. Afterward, they would go fishing or hunting or something. It was a mix of black and white. The way things are now seemed very weird to me. As if people are not growing up, or they are miseducated.

The science they promote in climate change is extremely misleading. I did the deep dive after I thought, "they told us we would freeze and California would be in the ocean." But C02 is good for plants, trees and plants. I need ir to grow my food. I am concerned about the geoengineering going on. I mean, are there going to be consequences from putting all those heavy metals and chemicals in the air? They say it doesn't hit the ground, but your making rain with them and creating clouds, doesn't it come down in the rain? I often wonder if that's why all these large fires burn so hot these days it melts glass. IDK. At least they admit to doing it these days.

Candace, if you happen to read this, I just wanted to tell you your story about your grandfather… Well, I can totally relate. I feel the exact same about my father’s mother. My grandmother was my absolute best friend. And I gained wisdom every moment I was with her. She taught me to garden, and to eat healthy and to walk and to sit in the sun, and to make some tea, and how to treat people and to show up and help neighbors and just how to be a true human being. She was very godly and everything she did was to be Christ like. She was an amazing woman. I love that story you told. I agree.

I remember that too. As a kid worried if we were all going to freeze to death. 1988 was the first time I heard Global warming. It was hot that year.

Ozone is manufactured in the upper atmosphere by natural processes every single second but man made Chlorofluorocarbons were destroying ozone at a faster rate than it was being made, hence the Ozone Crisis. The world wide outlawing of commercial Chlorofluorocarbons allowed the Ozone layer to recover.

I believe attention spans are too short for most to follow for long. Plus here you have two people arguing different sides of an issue, with neither actually providing proof that they are right or wrong. I had to stop after watching 10 minutes worth. All I heard was two people arguing points about things they didn't have the full information on themselves. This is why I generally don't like podcasts they are filled with a lot of talking, but with very few and sometimes no facts given.

I don’t find her super relatable or factual at all. She made a lot of blatantly, incorrect false statements here on this podcast I’m trying to stand behind them like they were factual.I.e. Hillary Clinton conceded the election immediately. Also, she doesn’t believe in climate change? I don’t think she’s very smart.
I just wish she would educate herself on climate change. Joe Rogan pushed her on this and she admitted to being ignorant on the subject. She'd be more effective with a bit of knowledge. I can't stand her demeanor and she doesn't know issues in depth. Ben Shapiro has a good grasp on issues he's engaging with.

Bill and Candace touched on something so important. Speaking of comedy. Comedy is the oldest ice breaker in history. When people who think they are so different are able to laugh at the “walls” between them, those walls get weaker and come down.

I have another take. Especially starting in the '50s and '60 (Lenny Bruce era), it was used to introduce taboo subjects and normalise them through sarcasm and laughter. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat I see good and bad on both sides. I don't vote for the party but the person. You and Candace are two of my favorites to listen to. Neither of you are afraid to speak what you feel is right, and both make great points. I can't tell you how much I loved that you guys sat down together and talked liked this. We need more people like that doing this. What ever happen to the days two people with different views could sit down and express how they feel about so many different topics and still show compassion and respect for each other? Not only that but you guys showed you can be one side or the other and still agree on what is right, (why can't congress figure that out.) Maybe that's what we need A President form on party and A Vice President from the other that can do what you guys just done.

Except for the irrationality of Candace, who was still in question as to whether we landed on the Moon…and this does create a hole in the fabric of other Candace theories. Candace showed that she was not as intellectual as she thinks…as she was confused and avoided the logic of Bill's argument, which was brilliant.. And it was very debatable.

90% of news stories during his presidency painted him in a negative light. That statistic alone should be enough to wake people up to what was happening to him.

Bill likes the original image, he hasn't changed. His established political base has changed.
He hasn't been moving right over the years. He's literally said the same thing for years. He's always been center left. He has some views he shares with the right and some he shares with the left. He offends some lefties because they don't realize he has always shared some views from the right. And people on the right think he's on the left because he shares some views with people on the left. He's been pretty consistent over the years on his views.
A good example is... he likes to have sex with a ton of women. He's called today's feminism... "rabbid feminism". But many on the left don't realize his viewpoints on this. When they hear it, they think he's moving over to the right, so they complain about him.
What he does is, he's not afraid to call out the left, just like he calls out people on the right. He had an episode where he's addressed this. That's probably why you think he looked stunned. When asked about him moving to the right he said this...
