Women should not have to compete against men regardless of if they are transgender. Let trans people compete against other trans people. Loved this conversation. Funny and outrageous at moments. Bill took it to the edge a few times. The conversation about dick size is not for public views. Have it, off record, in private. Glad Riley deflected out of respect to herself and Lia. I have the utmost respect for RG and don't understand the folks who support such unfairness in sports.

Watching this podcast was in a nutshell why I love Bill Maher. He is able to chat with someone who isn't his clone politically and have a great conversation. I love Riley Gaines as well.

My daughter competed at Georgia tech senior nationals, several years earlier. When the young women change into their suits in the locker room, they are all in a group in a room. It is that way at all the swim meets. Now imagine your daughter, sister, etc. having to change at that young age with a 6'4" naked fully intact man. They vary from age 16 to their 20's. It's sick.
As a woman I am tired of women being erased by men who will never be women, and women who will never be men no matter how much they wish for it! Every young mother should show Riley as a strong woman to look up to!
Then all women should speak out and stop being scared of the backlash.

I'm near 70 and have lived experienced SO MUCH in my time. From 1972-82 I lived in Kings Cross area (similar to Soho) which was filled with gay folks, and saw the whole hip/anything goes era unfolding in real time. Alas, what has overwhelmed Western lands in the past 5-7 years isn't justice and freedom for those with a bawdy kink: it's a madness beyond belief, and the real Nazis are those claiming to be oppressed.

I was a swimmer. I don’t think people realize how hard this girl has worked. We peaked at 100k a week over winter break. 2x a day, 6 days a week, 11 1/2 months a yr.. and the girls peaked sooner and worked harder. This is what I call social terrorism and look what they taking are away from people like Riley. Disgusting.

I didn't and I'm not that much older than Riley. It's a joke about something she's talked a lot about, i.e., being in a locker room with a fully intact male and how uncomfortable that was. She didn't seem uncomfortable with the joke to me, but who knows. If he was asking her to describe say, her husband's penis, that would be very inappropriate and creepy. But in my opinion, it was a contextually appropriate joke, even to keep going back to it a couple of times.
