So it took £34,000 of £2 coins to fill the book. Proper money bags! Fantastic finds - well done 🎉

If it were me,,, I would have started the next book immediately, as the rest of the hunt would be slightly irrelevant, as nothing else would be used. Imagine how you would have felt if Commonwealth Games Northern Ireland had come out of a subsequent bag.
What a hunt!! Congratulations on finishing the book i have to admit you fooled me with the thumbnail I was expecting to see the 1807 with the smooth finish,top find has to be the CW Games Scotland,shout out for the Rio Handover and Tube Train all the best.

Huzzah! Book done! A couple of stats.. By my reckoning 17250 coins were inspected and 1463 commemoratives were found at an average of 21 found per hunt. A slight difference of opinion: I made it 69 hunts in total (2 hunts have same number, but can't recall which..) My counters are slightly different from Christopher's so I'll not confuse matters, but Army Centenary was the most found commemorative coin. On to the next book!!

Hi I collected all the £2 coins including all the opposite edge inscriptions and I had all but one the 2007 abolition of the slave trade, I could not find the opposite for it anywhere so I thought I would look in my proof set which I bought direct from the Royal Mint and when I looked at the edge it was the wording was the same way up as the one I had and then it dawned on me the wording was different to the other coin.
So to cut a long story short I sent it to the mint who in turn confirmed that it was genuine and the only one they had seen.
I now holds a place in a mini set off the slavery coins which I made up of two circulated, two BU, two proof, one silver and the unique one.
To me it is a nice little set.

Would it be cheating your system if you then started on #7 straight away with the same bag of coins?
I would say no. You get rid of the coins already found, and start new book from the remaining bags. Many do this, but Christopher prefers to start afresh with the next full bag.
Counters Tend To be for the less uncommon. But maybe Trinty House vs Navy Centenery and a 4 way counter for the Commonwealths ! (lol)

I've got the same coin with the same error. Is it actually worth anything? Cause people say the 1807 £2 isn't worth anything but others say it does

I think that you should just use the coins that you just found for your new book. But I'm not from a place that uses pounds so I don't know how you do it with pounds.

anything at face value he sends back to the bank, he only keeps over face value coins or "oddities"

I'd love a fake counter. Then once the next book is finished you could go I went through x number of 2 pounds coins and this percent was fake... congrats on the book fill.
