The fact the Foo Fighters haven't been asked to perform at the Super Bowl is criminal.
Especially after Price covered them when he did his epic Superbowl performance.
You have to pay to perform at the Super Bowl, they don’t ask. They might offer, but you still have to pay. It’s seen as an epic opportunity to showcase any artist or band.

Heck yeah. And let’s stop and give some props to Nate, who is terribly underrated as a bass player. He is always solid as a rock, and doesn’t mind laying in the cut and chilling.

Howard Sterns studios are the best, great acoustics for this studio and engineering... whoever plays there sounds amazing if they have talent.

This is honestly an incredible version.
I remember watching the foos in the early 2000s, seeing Dave singing songs like monkey wrench and breakout like there's no tomorrow and thinking... This guy's voice won't last long. Here I am, decades later, seeing how wrong I was and what a legend is Dave Grohl.
He did go through a rough patch a few years back, but his voice seems to have come back a lot now.

We wore out many a 8 tracks listening to Mountain. This brought a tear to my eye.
Howie's studio tech audio team are amazing.
The end of this clip marks why Howard is the best presenter of the last decades , real emotions , no show , real passion.
