We live in a lovely Canadian town, on an island on the Pacific coast.....so peaceful. We have thirty miles of forest at the back door and have cougars, bears, elk, deer, wolves and many other critters.
Oh wow that sounds incredible 🌿 We have a lot of wildlife in Scotland but not much in the way of predators...amazing to hear about the wilds of other lands!
Hi Kat, As always, your videos lift my heart and create a calm sense of appreciation for nature. I'm so glad you took the opportunity to take a solo retreat and reconnect to your well-being. The footage is beautiful and inspiring! Thank you for the time that you take to create video posts. I always look forward to your content. "Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice." Psalm 96:11-12 🌼🌻🏵 Warmest blessings, Donna
A great video Kat. I lived in Argyll and Bute for a while and there was a tear in my eyes as I recalled my time there. Memories rekindled and often with rain🤩🤩🤩. You have inspired me. Thank you.
Absolutely loved this video. Feels like home to me. Or my Grandmother. I miss her and her Harlan County home on the river 7 mile down river from Cumberland ky.
As always, such a beautiful video!! And what a cozy cabin!! Limiting external man-made stimuli and reconnecting w/ natural experiences is imperative to ones mental & physical health. Tk u for expressing ur life journey w/ honesty and vulnerability.
Absolutely! It's so lovely to connect with like minded folks here 😌 And thank you for your encouragement, I always look forward to reading your comments!
Thank you for such a peaceful, beautiful video. I visited Scotland a couple of times in the 80s and 90s, a time before the internet and social media completely changed our lives. I feel so fortunate to have enjoyed those much simpler times and experienced the slower pace of life back then. The first trip was from my hometown, Eastbourne, in East sussex, on the south coast of England with my first wife and our young Son. We stopped overnight in Birmingham, staying with my wife's parents. Then, onto Glasgow staying with one of her cousins for a couple of nights and visiting with a number of her relatives. Then we drove to an old rural cottage we had rented on the outskirts of Aberfeldy. The cottage was about a mile along a rough old road that started beside a distillery. It was so quiet and peaceful with the sound of a stream outside that flowed beside the road and supplied the distillery with water. We spent 7 days exploring the area and immersing in the culture and beauty of it all. Have you been to Aberfeldy? If not I recommend it. You would love it.
I’m so impressed by your adventurous spirit. Despite the weather, it looks as though you captured some lovely footage. To be able to see Scotland through you lens is a delight. Enjoyable video as always.
Truth be told, I had expected to take two buses then to hike half an hour. But my Air BnB hosts were so kind, they found out I didn't have a car and picked me up from the nearest town so I only needed to take one bus! 😃
Is the cottage for sale? greetings from the united states my grandmother s people are from that area...by the way your videos are very gòod outstanding and beautiful

I think that this was a lovely thing to do for yourself. Possibly, 18:24 you need to relocate to a spiritual home. Take care❤️
Thank you for watching, it was such a sweet time 😊
Dear Kat, what is the song starting at 16:07 called?

Not to my knowledge, but it's an Air BnB you can stay in if you book. It's called Dunans Cottage, and it's in Argyll. Thank you for your kind words!
