  • Today I'm testing out the new Power Flosser 3000 from Philips Sonicare. I've tried a couple of models from Waterpik in the past, including the ION Flosser, so let's see how this new offering stacks up.

    I had the old version but was always concerned about the cleanliness of it and how microorganisms could grow. There was never any way to clean it well. Mine lasted 4 years. I just purchased this one. I'm very happy with the function, and it is much more hygienic - easier to keep clean. My dentist recommended this over Waterpik.

    Did you notice the nozzle feeling a little loose on your unit? I have the same one and even when the nozzle is all the way down it moves slightly in its socket. Not sure if it’s meant to be like this or mine is just defective.

      Mine has only a very slight wiggle to it, such that the tip might move about 1mm. It feels pretty secure to me.

    Can you tell me what the tank size of the portable model is. Can’t find it online. My plug in waterpik after 6 years broke and holds 18oz wondering if the handheld is maybe close?

    • @ProductImpressions
      @ProductImpressions  Год назад

      It holds 8oz of water, which I find to be enough to go around my teeth once.

    You can twist the tank off then refill water and twist it back.
    Two ways to refill Water.

      Thank you for pointing this out! That definitely makes sense. I guess I was worried about twisting too hard.

    Does it have strong water pressure? I need one with strong water pressure because my previous one is useless in terms of pressure. I ordered one but still have this concern. Thanks!

      I'd say it is reasonably strong. There are stronger available, but in a portable package.

      Well, I haven't had braces, so I cannot comment reliably. My other experience with waterpik was an early portable one that didn't have a Li-ion battery, so the power dropped the longer between charges. I have to think they are similar at this point, but unfortunately don't have any other information.

    Does the "deep clean" mode offer stronger water pressure? If so, does it bring it noticeably closer to the pressure of your countertop waterpik?

    • @ProductImpressions
      @ProductImpressions  Год назад +1

      It does get a higher pressure, but that's actually what I was testing. With a longer comparison now, I'd say you are getting up to perhaps a 7 on the countertop waterpik.

    Just bought it and have issues. 1) When you turn it on and start using it is water suppose to come out of the tiny hole under the eject button in the back? 2) is the quad stream tip only suppose to click in place instead of fully go in because it leaves a gap and water leaks out and not enough water comes through the tip?

    • @ProductImpressions
      @ProductImpressions  Год назад

      It shouldn't leak anywhere. The tip clicks into place securely.

    Is the water flosser holding up one year later?

    • @ProductImpressions
      @ProductImpressions  10 месяцев назад +2

      This one did not, no. After about 8 months or so, the battery went out. The countertop flosser that I have is still working perfectly.

    I bought two, one lasted 6 months and the other barely 3 months. impossible to contact the after-sales service, moreover they force you to install whatsapp or to call which costs money. When you installed whatsapp, they ask you your mail , your name and then they ignore you or repeat the same things. Don't recommand that brand, and in addition the jet is not even powerful and it is one of the most expensive water flossers on the market .... The price does not necessarily rhyme with quality !
