Rita, I wanted to circle back to say that your videos DO make quite a difference! I have purchased 2 Aquarius models as Christmas gifts and even got a third one for me. I gifted my husband one and figured it might help since his cleanings were increased to 3 a year -- he hates using regular dental floss and his gums were getting soft. He has used his Aquarius daily since Christmas and went to get a teeth cleaning today and hygienist reported noticeable improvement!! She will still see him next in 4 months but if he remains consistent in using water flosser and his progress is maintained / improved, she will switch him to cleanings 2x a year. He was so happy! He says the Aquarius is incredibly easy to use, he really appreciated and learned so much from your tutorial, and says this water flosser is way easier than regular floss especially when you have arthritic fingers. Win, win, win! Thank you very much for teaching us and helping us!!

Things I did right before watching this amazing video:
    -Used warm water
    Things I did wrong:
    -Stood straight up.
-Spilled the entire reservoir of water on the bathroom counter by pulling on the water pipe too much, because I stood straight up.
-Had the machine set to 30psi
-Smiled at the mirror as I watched myself water floss
-pointed the water stream directly at my gumline
-sprayed the mirror, myself, the counter, the cat, and my teeth
I finished and sat at my computer, half soaked, and thought about how I'm going to have to install this machine in the shower so I don't make a mess. I then started thinking about the physics of what's happening with water and at a 30 psi setting it didn't feel like much and didn't make sense. So I luckily found your video. When you mentioned the Venturi effect, it all clicked and made sense.
Thank you so much for an awesome and highly informative video!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! 🎉 I went to the dentist after 10 years of not going. I had to get a tooth extracted. I went to a dental resident clinic. I got a 3rd top molar wisdom tooth removed. I wasn’t given any painkiller. 40 minutes later after getting the tooth extracted I was in so much pain. My gum hurt so bad! So after dealing with that pain since I know I will not floss my teeth I will 100% use a water pik.

Awesome video! Just got my Aquarius for Amazon prime day and after soaking myself twice today, I jumped on here and found you thankfully! Now I'm going to share this video with family and friends to convince them to get one, too!
I do have a question. You said you don't really need to ever add anything except maybe 2 capfuls of hydrogen peroxide occasionally. What if you do have some gum disease and pockets? I've had my gums scaled before and my dentist recommended a second one since I have a few measuring 4 and 5. I think I even had one that measured 6. Would you recommend doing a special rinse every so often in the waterpik? I haven't tried the pocketpik yet.

      Super happy you found this!
No need for the pik pocket. The standard tip will reach the base of up to a 7mm pocket. Good there. If you want to go the extra mile, add in the hydrogen peroxide every day to the reservoir. No need for a rinse. Most all rinses don’t do what they are marketed to accomplish. Plus, if you are brushing twice a day for a full two minutes and using the waterpik once, there is no need for a rinse. They do not remove any bacteria or plaque that is resting on the teeth. They only remove large particles and destroy all the healthy bacteria as well as the bad bacteria. We need the good guys to balance the mouth. The mechanical removal, brushing and waterpik, of bacteria and plaque is what works best.
But if you want a rinse, I would suggest either Closys or a 50/50 solution of water and hydrogen peroxide to rinse with 1 x daily for 30 seconds. But, if you are placing peroxide in the waterpik, no need what so ever to rinse with also. It will do the job in the pik. As for the Closys, you can rinse 2 x daily with zero side effects. It’s safe, effective, yet gentle. It is truly my favorite. I use their toothpaste daily. 😷

This was an absolutely incredible, informative video! Like another comment said, one of the best I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much for walking us through how to use the Waterpik. I have recycled paper towels on the sink because I get water everywhere! I also recently purchased this water flosser but saw a different brand for half price at TJ Maxx and wasn’t so sure, so I’m glad I came across your vid because I am definitely sticking with the Waterpik brand! My teeth need as much help as they can get! Question: do you put the flosser directly on the gums/teeth? Or do you leave some space between? In the manual, it looks like there’s a little space.

So happy your here! Thanks for watching and learning. You want the tip to touch the gums/teeth. They demo it that way in the manual for visualization purposes. Happy water flossing 😷

Boy I'm so glad I found this video. I have been doing it wrong. Just started a few days ago and love it but with the handheld it did not feel like it could possibly be long enough. Now I'll know to refill it several times. As well as exactly how to use it. Thank you so much!

Best video on waterpik I ever watched. Thanks for the vinegar tip. I can't live without waterpik, it's a must for protocolo .
My Tip: Use 1 drop of Tea Tree on the brush to finalize the oral hygiene, the best natural antibacterial I know.

So I was using it wrong for years. I just got a portable after throwing out my old one so glad I watched the video because they said it’s enough for your whole mouth but didn’t feel that way so now I know to refill multiple times. I would have my teeth bleed on&off for I don’t know how many years but didn’t realize it could have to do with bacteria, dentist told me I brushed too hard but I was brushing the same so maybe that’s why half my mouth has had work done lol. I normally have a hard time paying attention, never expected to watch the whole video but it’s so well done&informative. Thank you! Waterpik should appreciate you.
