I've found Philips Sonicare 4500 - 2 handle pack (model number HX6830/35). However, I can't find much details about 4500 model on web, whereas there are a lot of reviews about 4100 model. Not sure how much different compared to 4100. Any ideas?
It's basically identical to the ProtectiveClean 4100 (Not to be confused with the 4100 Series). The 4500 ProtectiveClean has 2 modes and a dedicated button to change between the modes. Decent brush subject to price. Easily worth $50 per handle.
@@ElectricTeeth I am little bit confused but after reading a Reddit thread, I guess ProtectiveClean has 62000 movements per minute and AC charger; vs 4100 (or 4500) series has 31000 movements per minute and USB charger. Is that correct? I found a deal 890 kr (~90$) for 2 handle pack, which seams to be a really good deal I guess? Or shall I search for 4100 series instead?
Kind of. Philips have never actually published how many movements the 4100 Series have compared to the ProtectiveClean range. The ProtectiveClean brushes are a bit more powerful, but there isn't a huge difference between them. I would say the HX6830/35 for ~$90 is a good price. That is ~$45 per handle. I would go for it. 👍
Sir, my father is 73 years old. His teeth of course not very strong like young people. Is 4100 suitable? Dentist only told me to buy ekectric toothbrush..
Hi, I am thinking about wether I should buy the 4100 or the protective clean 4300? Which do u think is better?(btw I have sensitive teeth and live in the eu) Thanks in advance❤
i am hoping to get this brush for Christmas. the price is reasonable and i like that it is offered in different colors.
Nice budget toothbrush. But I miss the wall charger.
Trying it out tomorrow, J cool!
Update: It is a great product, tanguru.
Just realised that the 4300 and the protective clean 4300 are completely different brushes and series.
which one is better? D:
Have you noticed a difference between OralB and Philips sonicare with plaque disclosing tablets?
Presuming in how well they clean?
In our at home tests, we find the results to be comparable.
Ah! That’s not what we wanted to hear. ;)
Why? Isn't that good that most toothbrushes clean comparably?
Much of it comes down to your brushing time, frequency and technique.

Movements are half a stroke, so they are identical in that respect in my understanding.

Yes there is no reason why this brush would not be fine to use.
How do you know when it's fully charged?
The charging light turns green and then off once fully charged.
Is this good for gum recession?
It won't make it any worse. On the lower power mode it is nice & gentle.

Subject to price the 4300 is a good option. It actually has a slightly more powerful motor and a much better battery life. It's not charged via USB.
Should i buy 4100 or 7300 ? ( or 9000 )
I would generally recommend the 4100.
Thank you Sir
