You forgot to mention the intensity options. Everything minus the 5100 has that. That's important. I bought a 5100 based on this video only to disappointingly find that out after
Appreciate this comment, made me do more research to find the best brush for me. Reviewer def failed to mention this important detail. 5100 and 6100 brushes have different modes, but only 4100 Series (2 speeds) and 6100 (3 speeds) can change the speed intensity that vibrates (brushes) by switching with power button. Don't get confused with older model 4100 ProtectiveClean which doesn't offer the 2 speed intensities. Now, Walmart and other retailers are carrying the 4300 Series w/ 2 speed intensities AND a carrying care which is the one I'll be going for instead of the 5100 thanks to soupekid13. All have the same strength motor of 31,000 brush strokes per minute, by the way., credit to another reviewer Jon Love for that info.

Great comparison, especially the conclusion! Thank you!
How about build quality? My old sonic are has a fat plastic handle. These all look nice and maybe are made of metal? Is there any differences in build quality? Do they all vibrate at the same frequency? You mention the heads they come with, but are all of the heads interchangeable between models?
@joefitzy These units are still made of plastic, but are very durable. As for the vibration, the nicer models offer a higher frequency option which is more effective in teeth whitening. The 5100 series and up offer up to 62,000 vibrations per minute. The models below go to 31,000. Concerning the heads, the snap on brush heads are all interchangeable. I got the 5100 back in 2019 or 2020 can’t recall and has been rock solid, I’m chasing a good deal on the 9300 because I want the app with the real time tracking, however if I don’t find a good deal for the holidays on the 9300 I’ll get the 6100 on Navy Blue, it looks beautiful.
@waiinleong3782 It varies between series. The models up to and including the 4100 series have brush speeds up to 31000 brush strokes per minute. The models above that offer up to 62000 brush strokes per minute.
I just got the 7900, but I don't see much about it online. Is it just the 7300 but with the extra whitening mode? It did come with 4 heads that all seem to be whitening, with a "W" on them, so it seems to be focused on whitening..
@JoeBob79569 It looks like the 7900 series may be exclusive to the UK. We're located in the US so we don't have access to that one, however, it looks like the 7900 comes with the 4 whitening heads you mentioned, the extra brushing mode of White+, and a toothbrush stand.
@@abtelectronics Yea, that sounds right. I got it from the UK, but I live in Ireland, and the 7900 isn't even shown on the Irish website, only the 7100 and 7300, so it seems to be _very_ specific to the UK.
@zaineildagrobates7739 The 5100 series is a great value if you're looking for a model with a gum care option. Here's a link to learn more: www.abt.com/Philips-Sonicare-ProtectiveClean-5100-Black-Gray-Electric-Toothbrush-HX685060/p/184899.html
@zaineildagrobates7739 The gum care mode adds an extra minute of brushing time at a lower intensity to help strengthen gums. It works the same way on any of the models that offer that particular brush mode.
@zaineildagrobates7739 The app is nice to help you understand if your brushing patterns are effective, and if you like keeping track of that information. It helps highlight areas that can be cleaned better, but it doesn't affect how the brush itself works.
Really glad the toothbrush comes with AI. Of course I’m kidding, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard of in a long time. Just hopping on the AI bandwagon and it’s almost embarrassing.

Background music is distracting, unnecessary, and cheapens you content. Couldn't sit through your video, sorry.
