    I've had a bulged disc and bad sciatica twice. I've found that visits to my chiropractor along with doing the exercises he gave me and cold laser therapy have been the best way to get back to normal. Oh and pain killers/ anti-inflammatorys.

    question - how does the mitochondria convert the light into energy given that it has no photoreceptors or photosensitive elements?

    • @SeattleDinghyer
      @SeattleDinghyer 2 года назад +2

      This is a great question. My theory is this: mitochondria are essentially leftovers from bacteria that were incorporated into our eukaryotic cells millions of years ago. They do the same function of creating ATP, the energy currency of the cell, via their electron transport system, which is the same as plants. It stands to reason that exciting those same systems with light energy would result in increased energy output from those mitochondria. Hope that helps.

    We already have this(It is same as you used the hair growth laser, or the standalone veterinaryunit meant for pets). But the benefits is not well established, due to incorrect ir/red wavelengths. Only specific IR wavelength works better. The limitations are penetration(mostly surface level). PEMF does not have this limitation.

    Have you done it for RSD/CRPS

    • @jeffrocker7504
      @jeffrocker7504 4 года назад

      Ketamine infusions are the gold standard for CRPS, but expensive unless you have the right insurance. I know people that have gotten symptom relief from Namenda, because it's also an NMDA receptor blocker like Ketamine. LDN {low dose naltrexone} has also worked miracles for some. You'll have to print research on these meds to bring to your doctor because most doctors don't know about CRPS. Also, be sure you get a cervical MRI and an EMG test. I know someone that had CRPS in arms for years and finally got these test and they found the root cause was from the neck, not from the arms and this person was able to attack the problem from the root. Best of luck to you.

    My mom is suffering from lower back pain. The city where we live in, has only one physiotherapy centre. Done with the treatment of cold laser, and after the treatment the problem has occurred again. Currently we are using infra red in our home. Discussed with our family doctor. He said you can do the cold laser treatment on your own. Do you see that this treatment could be given by any normal people? Because I'm giving the IR treatment to my mom by my own. Would you also recommend to give the laser treatment by my own. If yes, so how to purchase the equipment, and what are all the safety precautions to be taken at first?? Please help me 🙏🙏🙏

      Has anyone determined the cause of your mom's lower back pain? While cold laser may temporarily help with pain, if the cause is not addressed it will likely return. There are many, many types of laser devices. The ones to be used in a clinical setting require a medical license and can be dangerous if not used properly. Are there any providers where you live that provide this service?

    • @vishwasps8877

      @@drbrad1 the cause for the back pain, is sciatica. We did MRI. Yes as said above there is a provider who provided cold laser treatment. He said 10 sittings would be enough. But now after 10 sittings, the pain has occurred again... We discussed this with our family doctor, he said you can give the treatment by yourself. But as you said need to get the proper device. And I don't know which particular laser device to use...

      Our laser is an FDA-approved "over-the-counter" cold laser (available without a prescription) that is used both by physicians and ordinary laypeople. In fact, it is popular among laypersons because it is more affordable than most cold lasers that are for prescription only. • @officialscalarwavelaser-ex6986
      @officialscalarwavelaser-ex6986 4 года назад

      Great question. It's a little tricky but the short answer is "yes". Some "Low Level LIGHT Therapy (LLLT)" devices have LED's in them. They are not "Low Level LASER Therapy (LLLT)" devices or "cold lasers" because LED's are not laser diodes. The Scalarwave Laser is one of the few devices that has both LED's and laser diodes.

      YES! Cold Lasers can seriously damage your eyesight, unless the laser has a shield immediately in front of the laser diodes that "decollimates" the beam.
