Hi Erich, thanks again! What's great about DADGAD is it's a model tuning so it's very easy to play in both major and minor tunings. Also try playing in different keys within the tuning, not just the open D. A minor, G and C are great tunings to explore. Great stuff, me, like a lot of guitarists, just use chord 'shapes' within any given key, I need to work on understanding what the intervals are, as you correctly say.
