It is that time of year for soup. I would probably add strips of red bell pepper to my soup for color and flavor, but it looks good. I made a minestrone soup yesterday. 🥣🍲
My go to soups are, creamy spinach sausage and tortellini, rustic tortellini, Italian sausage soup with wine and zucchini, Italian wedding soup, cream of chicken with dumpling, chicken wild rice and beef barley. I make turkey noodle soup after Thanksgiving and share since there is so much. Sometimes I make chicken noodle soup but rarely. In all the Italian soups except the Italian sausage with zucchini, I make little meatballs with the sausage, cheese, bread, eggs and milk. I use my cookie scoop to measure. I make way more than recipe calls for because people always load up on the meatballs. Your recipe is delicious as well. Thanks. I also make creamy pepper Jack cheese soup with chicken and potatoes plus all the usual. I make that for the kids as it is a favorite.

Vegetable beef soup...just an old fashion treat. I make w ground chuck if in a hurry but we really like w stewed beef. I like to cook a chuck roast for a dinner. The next day, any leftover roast cut into chunks,is my soup, yum..

Then Wednesday was unseasonably warm but Thursday and Friday were back to a cold that calls for something that will warm you deep into your soul. 😋 And this soup will do the trick! 🤗 I know other states have colder weather with unbearable temperatures and even snow. It snowed here in Illinois and I got 7 inches of snow. Today I woke up to 2 degrees with a wind chill of 25 below zero. Burr. I just today had my furnace motor replaced because it was needing it. So I had my stove on in kitchen and cabinet doors open in kitchen. Back bedroom a heater for half bath back their. Then I had a heater in the main bathroom and a big one in my room. I didn't want pipes to burst. I made yesterday a tasty dish. Hamburger and two boy and cubes two and a half cups of water or three, a whole box of egg noodles. I cooked my noodles in the pot with broth and meat. Your so right cooking them in one pot makes it all taste so much better. I hope you don't as cold as here is Burr. I remember one year it was 40 below zero, and wind chill was over 50 below zero. Good time to make snow candy. God bless you all ❤️

I’m a soup lover.. don’t think I’ve ever met a soup that I don’t like 😅 but my hubs is pretty picky 😏 we just stick to the basics… chili, taco soup, chicken stew and ground beef stew..
My mom used to make a aheperds pie soup. She cooked it in her huge Cajun Dutch oven, & there were NEVER any leftovers. 😋 😋 😋
