I'm waiting on the next release of this car. Supposedly by the end of April. Because I missed it last year. I love building my RC car's. I've got a few buggies and Even a Super Clod Buster. This will be my first 1/12 th scale RC. I can't wait. Cool video thanks for the info.
good info, on the esc choice, gotta be cheaper than the kyosho esc, I got in mine, , nice paint tutorial im having issues with the front wheels coming off, the hub nut screws down on each axle, and when I screw the tires on and after torque down on the nut, it can back off gradually.
Great RC build video and really enjoyed watching it. BTW, what tools did you use to open up the drive chain to shorten it... coz' I am now facing the same issue of slack chain after running it for a while :) :)
Pretty sure I used two needle nose pliers. I distinctly recall my fingers hurting quite a bit after building this car... So I am sure I was using just brute force, too.
It is from L&L Models in the UK. Looks like they currently have them in stock: landlmodels.co.uk/products/datsun-510-225mm-m-chassis Their shipping to the US always takes a long time. So just a heads up on that. I used pearl red, what and blue backed with regular red, white and blue. Then trimmed it with some chrome pinstriping. Glad you like it!
@@quietrc thank you for the reply I really appreciate it also what chassis are you running it on. I've been out of the RC game for quite a bit but would love to get back into the street cars, also I owned a souped-up 510 years ago and would love to get an RC car version of if you could help out with any information I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
@@droks510I have this on a Tamiya M08R. This is the top-trim version of their latest, dedicated, rear-wheel drive chassis. There are several companies that make M-chassis-sized kits, but Tamiya is the biggest with the most options. Specifically, this body is made for the 225mm set-up.
Great video! It would be great if manufacturers would include 2 bodies with kits. I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍

Thanks for checking it out! I'll pretend like I wouldn't buy yet another release of this chassis... but let's be honest.
😂 the car flipping and vanishing off the track! Too funny😂
It was fine after that. Pretty robust chassis.
Nice buggy Looks Good! Thanks for the build heads up
Glad you enjoyed it!

Interesting. I have not had this issue. Don't be afraid to really torque down on these wheel nuts.
I love that it's chain driven You don't see too many of those I have a marui samurai that's chain-driven
Certainly interesting to build.
I didn’t put the chain on mine still handles awsome
Interesting. I assume it’s still fairly heavy, though, yeah?
@@quietrc yeah still heavy but still handles good for 2wheel drive

I like the rc but you should rename it talking about the rc. Not a building name would have been nice to see your experience building it.
Noted!
