How important do you feel that little bit of rear suspension is over the "first" version of this car? I am mainly going to run in very smooth lots, tennis and basketball courts, no racing, no carpet and rather infrequent use as I am mainly a buggy guy. Thanks
@@anthonymiller8979 I don’t have the first version of this car, but my guess is that it could only help. I don’t think racing the 2 versions back to back with the same setups would produce vastly different lap times, but I would expect that even on the hardest and smoothest of tracks, that the rear suspension would help keep the rear tires better planted and should improve handling enough to have a faster time.
Some tape across the top of the battery, no problem. The chain is more like a jewelry chain than a typical gear chain, so it doesn’t have sharp edges gouging out anything.
A bit long winded, but painting this was what garnered the most comments and questions from people on Facebook. I waited days until the weather was warm enough to do the job, and it turned out to be the most frustrating part of the build. I almost feel like getting another body and trying again. Maybe in clear pink… 😅
Thanks for watching the show :) Fantom CRC-II 60th will be on the show in the next week :) Keep up the great content. Gavin
Thanks! Wish I could do it full time like you do. Glad it has worked out for you.
@@Triggered-RC It's a long hard road for sure and I've not made it yet. Really that's when you hit 70,000+ subs with comparable views. Keep at it!
Not too interested in this car but a stunning paint job :-) 🤩
Thanks!

@@Triggered-RC Thanks, pretty much decided today to go with the sprung version
What did you use to measure the speed?
SkyRC GPS. “Gsm020 GNSS Performance analyzer”
Do you have an issue with the chain making contact with the battery or parts if the chassis?
The tape holding the battery in goes over that area of the battery. Doesn’t cause a problem as the chain is not rough. Doesn’t even wear the tape out.
Will the chain rub the chassis the whole time?

@@Triggered-RC That sounds sketch, but as long as it works it's fine
Ok enough with the body and paint
