SAME lol
Not bad all
Lmao same
Literally same.
Totally get it
Your best friends taking you to a bookstore and all picking you out a book is suchhhh a sweet and intentional gift, I love it so much
Love that idea. 😊
Noel thank you for including audiobook, I’m a legally blind bookworm & I often rely on audiobooks to consume literature, sadly it’s a subcategory that gets forgotten, so thank you!
Would love to hear your favorite audiobook recommendations!
@@kassafras replying because I'd like to know!
These bookshelves are giving chaotic used bookstore energy in all the best ways. ❤
I’m so happy you’re back. You’re my favorite booktuber and it felt like a drought these last few months.
GIRL WE MISSED YOU AND YOUR RECS😭❤️❤️ also can we talk about how glowy and beautiful you look😍😍🔥
Edit: just finished reading Viola Davis' "finding me" and it was the best start of this year tbh✨
AHHHHH SO GLAD YOU LOVEDDDDDDDD, it was fantastic right?!
I just finished that too! Just yesterday! I’m reading Idiot by Laura Clery now. 💕
I just finished reading it too! One of the best books I’ve ever read, she is such an amazing person!
The way my heart FLUTTERED when I saw this notification! You sweet angel you, hope you've been having an amazing time this year!
Noelle you spoke to my soul when talking about paperbacks!!!! ❤
BTW, welcome back! You look gorgeous as always.
Remarkably bright creatures was the first book I read in 2023 and it was just spectacular. It’s a story family, grief and love. It’s a beautiful portrait of how a friendship can change one’s life. You will love it for sure!
DITTO!!! I loved it so much it was such a great start to the year.
I got this for Christmas and will read it soon. Excited!
I also read this as the first book of the year. Amazing read
New Noelle video? February is already off to an AMAZING start
OH MY GOD SHES BACK ❤
Noelle, you're amazing. Thank you so, so much for just how great you are. I've been watching your channel for years and I consistently find comfort in how genuine you continue to be. I'm blushing ever hue of red from your kind words. I hope you love the book!! The tubes is always happy when you're here!!!
absolutely adore you + your recs + your videos 💛
Finished The Marriage Portrait last week. It was pure magic. I also knew nothing of 1500s Italy but put my faith in Maggie O’Farrell and I was NOT disappointed. Definitely run! don’t walk to read this book. ❤
Because you're a lover of short story collections, I wanted to mention 'Things we don't tell the people we love' by Huma Qureshi. The stories in this collection always focus on women and their relationships - it can be with a husband, a daughter, a mother-in-law. Each story is really emotional, sincere and relatable..I was completely captivated. This book deserves more love ❤️
this sounds AMAZING, thank you for the rec! (and the cover is so beautiful)
This sounds amazing!!
Seconded!! I’m reading it right now and it’s gorgeous
This sounds so good! If you haven't heard of it, you might also like Things We Say in the Dark by Kirsty Logan. It's a collection of short stories based on women's fears. It's a phenomenal collection and her writing is gorgeous
Thanks for not quiting on us Noelle! I had my best reading year ever last year, both in numbers and in 5-star reads, and quite a few of those were your recommendations! So thank you for sharing your wonderful enthusiasm of reading books! 💚🧡💜❤💖💕💙💛💕
The Island of Sea Women is one of my favorites. It was such an amazing story and when I finished the book, I hugged it to my chest. Ahhhhh, it was so good!
SO EXCITED to see a new video today! I started reading fiction last summer and you’re the first booktuber I found and I ended up reading 40 books last year!
I adoredddd The Marriage Portrait. It didn’t stand on the same level as Hamnet for me, but I cannot stop thinking about it
Remarkably Bright Creatures is such a good story. Nothing earth shattering, but you care very much about the characters. If you listen to the audiobook, the voice of the octopus makes the whole story. 🙂
so happy you are back, we all missed u so much! and congratulations on the marriage, wish you all the happiness in the world ❤
seeing you in my subscription box is always an absolute JOY. you look so so beautiful!! 💌
also, id DIEEEE for a KU romance reading vlog. 😩 im in the exact same boat with you about Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow! the international paperbacks ive seen are so gorgeoussss so im just waiting patiently
as someone who recently read tomorrowx3 and already considered it one of her all time favorites, i think you should wait for the paperback! you deserve a reading experience that will let you devour it and really sink into it the way that works best for you!! i totalllyyyy get the fomo but what YOU get out of the book as a reader won't change from waiting a few months for the paperback.
I found “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” at a thrift store the other day in perfect condition for $1! I was waiting for the paperback but obviously I couldn’t pass up the deal. So excited to read it.
😳😳😳 wow!!! what an awesome score.
Aww made my day! Happy to see you chat about books!! I hope you are doing okay on your journey 😊
The woman in the library is so exciting for me rn because it’s a unique story format and I’m obsessed
What happened to you was AMAZING. One of the best books I’ve ever read. So eye opening, helps with empathy too.
East of Eden is a masterpiece. I read it maybe 10 years ago and have been seeing it recommended by a few booktubers recently, so I’m going to re-read it in 2023.
I have Lapvona pre-ordered in paperback (I’m not into hardbacks - controversial! 😁) and can’t wait to get stuck in.
Thanks for another great video ❤️
"What happened to you" is an exquisite book. Was a big part of my healing journey and I continue to reference it to this day.
Never do I add so many books to my tbr as I do when watching your videos. I'm so glad to see your face again ❤️
the queen is baaaaack, so happy to see you have a new video, hope everything is going well ❤️
Noelle - your skin is glowingggggg!! Also, loving this lip color on you. We missed you 💗
Yaaaaay! Noelle is back! Best notification on RUclips so far this year 🎉
A new Noelle vid! We have been BLESSED!
i finished the marriage portrait yesterday and i can absolutely recommend this book to you!
it was incredible and is going to live in my head for a long time.
once again a truly beautiful work by maggie o'farrell❤
Literally just started the video but I had to stop to say I'm OBSESSED with Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. It was my first read of the year after a heavyyy reading slump for all of January. I read it in a couple days while in between classes because I just couldn't put it down. Someone said it had the vibes of a little life in terms of character development and compelling friendships. BUT it's definitely less traumatic and less trigger warnings. I can't wait for you to read it and get your thoughts
Maggie O’Farrell’s new book is so fantastic, I would not wait on reading that one!
Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is epic and stunning. So good. Highly recommend. But I understand, I’m a paperback girly. Newest addition: New Animal by Ella Baxter
I read new animal last year and loved it 😍 hope you have a good time reading!!
Congratulations Noelle 💖and so glad you are back with us! Missed your videos dearly💞
I literally saved this video to watch at the end of my day, took a long shower, made some popcorn and lamonade, and here I am watching it at the maximum state of cozyness. Thanks Noelle, thank you.
I have to say, I have missed your videos so much! You were my comfort RUclipsr during the pandemic and you still bring me so much joy to watch. Thank you from a very appreciative subscriber ❤
The way I stopped everything I was doing to click on this video !!
So happy to see you again
✨💖✨💖
Happy New Year, Noelle! I just want to say thank you, I finished The Kiss Quotient yesterday and it was the best romance book I've read, I'm so thankful❤I don't read much romance but this piece of art was everything I wanted
100000000% am going to re-reading the kiss quotient this month, so glad you loved!
I just finished Highly Suspicious & Unfairly Cute and it’s so sweet! And the banter is top notch
even more excited to start it now! (also your "best books of 2022 according to booktube" video was SO good...that editing!!! it was incredible 😭)
the marriage portrait was wonderful! So well written and has a mystery element that’s so interesting. I gave it 4/4.5 ⭐️
ughhhh The Island of Sea Women hurts so good!! it’s an incredible book💗
Noelle, just wanna drop by n’ say i missed u like crazy!❤ Sending positive vibes to one of my favourite people here . Couldn’t believe my eyes for good 4-5 seconds that it was u. Love u!
I am always SO HAPPY to see you!!
Couldn’t be more thrilled that you uploaded!!! I was at work and couldn’t wait to go to lunch!!!! Thank you for the recs!! And those necklaces are perfect together!! I wouldn’t mind a heads up on where they’re from 😉😉😉 I keep trying to find a good set, but can’t. You’re jewelry recs are as fire as your book recs. Love you tons Noelle!
Noelle, I live for your book hauls and recs because we have the SAME EXACT TASTE and I love you for it! 🤣 You don’t know how much this gives me life!!! Keep going!
I don't lean towards reading most of the genres you prefer, yet I love to listen to your book hauls and reviews every time.
SHE'S BACK
Remarkably Bright Creatures is absolutely phenomenal. I cried like a baby. Also, paired with the audiobook is *chef’s kiss*
I never would have picked up a stephen king book until I saw your videos when you would talk about IT. I picked it up a few months back and just finished. I cried at the end! Loved it! I cant wait to explore more of his work!!! Thank you!
Just finished ‘The Rose Code’ by Kate Quinn. It was so exciting; I purchased book from kindle and listened to it on Libby. I find books about Bletchley Park and code breakers during the war fascinating!
Have you read her book the huntress. I listened to it on audio. It’s so good!
I think you're going to love Remarkably Bright Creatures! It was one of my favorite books of 2022.
My Sister the Serial Killer is so good! I read it physically so I am not sure about the audio book, but the story itself is so fascinating. I cannot wait to hear what you think about that one.
I recently read “Swimming in the dark” and it was so good. I know you adored Call by my name. You will really like it ❤❤❤
I read The Marriage Portrait last month, it was my first Maggie O'Farrell and I gave it 4 stars- I don't want to spoil anything but I found despite the size of the book, the pages flew by, the dual time lines are very different and distinct without being jarring. It kept me guessing till the end and has made me want to pick up more of her books- Hope you enjoy it Noelle, sending love from the UK x
So many good ones! I look forward to hearing what you think of them. (And it's definitely buf´it-ed, not "buffeyed.")
East of Eden is my favorite book of all time (I have read it 6 times and have a tattoo based off/inspired by it, I should probably make a video talking about it at some point) and I am so excited you're going to read it!
I have missed you, Noelle! I hope you have a great February 🌺
It’s so good to see you Noelle !! 💝
I just spent the weekend watching your old videos, & I thinking about how much I miss your content!!!! Thank you for blessing I with this video
I missed you & your videos so much! ❤ Glad to see you posted. You are probably extremely busy with school and wedding planning (idk if you’ve had your wedding yet or not lol) on top of regular life things. I recently had a wedding in November & I was stressed everyday until the day. Hope you and your fiancé & doggies are doing well 😊😊
o caledonia is absolutely fantastic, so happy to see it here (i also picked it up as a fan of maggie o'farrell)- the plot is not quite as described here, but it is dark & the protagonist's love of gothic novels is reflected in the writing
The Marriage Portrait was amazing! I went into it knowing nothing about the history and it was so interesting and I loved sinking right into it! Totally worth your time. I gave it five stars ^_^
East of Eden is my favorite book of all time, and I practically screamed when you held it up. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Oh and i’ve also read The Marriage Portrait, one of my favorite books of 2022. I still think about it at least weekly: such a powerful story and so lyrical
Welcome back Noelle, you look GORGEOUS! My most recent purchase is The Candy House hardback and I really want to get my hands on Cleopatra and Frankestein. Have a romantic February ❤️
If you're going to check out Bitter I would also suggest Pet. The student in Bitter is actually the mother from Pet. The audiobook for Pet is also wonderful!
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is absolutely worth prioritizing. It was one of my best books of 2022 and it might have earned a place in my top 10 favorite books ever.
The Island of Sea Women looks great
Love seeing you back with a new video 💜 Not going to lie though, I miss your what I got for christmas videos, they gave me so many good ideas
The joy of you talking about books you love is my new favourite thing 😘 absolutely adore your vids 😘😘
Remarkably Bright Creatures: I'd recommend it for fans of Frederik Backman, esp if you liked Man Called Ove. It's one of those cozy, quirky stories that centres a lot on families/community
East of Eden is so so good and so readable and has maybe the best villain I've ever read 👀Also being able to comment on another booktubers vid and buddy read something with them is #goals hahah -- this is such a sexy book haul
Look up a fairly unknown gem in an anime by the same title..nothing to do with it but the opening song is by Noel Gallagher
so happy to see you back!! i think i see a 2nd band on your ring finger! congratulationsss :)
Reading remarkably bright creatures at the moment and I absolutely love it!
Thank you for your videos and recommendations. You often find books I don’t see a lot of other people talking about which is so cool! The way you speak so passionately about books makes me want to pick up so many of your recommendations! Idk I needed this soothing calm video today so thank you! ❤
A new Noelle video... the sunshine of my day!! I'm currently reading The Bandit Queens and it's definitely good so far - the crime/mystery starts to pick up about halfway through (where I am) and I absolutely can't wait to be done with my day so I can get cozy and read some more!
Lisa See also wrote The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane - absolutely beautiful book!
East of Eden is one of my favorite books ! I listened to it on audiobook last summer, absolutely mesmerizing. I can also say Lapvona is great! It was my 1st book from Ottessa & now I'm hooked.
The way I see this and immediately click and start to feel better about my day
I NEED the kindle unlimited videooooo! just started the free 2 months and i'm having anxiety just by looking at all the options, so i need recommendations before i lock myself up in my room reading everything for months 😂
The Marriage Portrait was stunning! It really takes up the space of all those pages and sinks you into a lush, descriptive, lyrical reimagining of the life of this girl who gets married off at 15. She's a painter, so a lot of the descriptions are from her eyes and she's such an insightful, intelligent main character. You can't help but to root for her.
Basically, pick it up immediately because I think you'll love it!
Noelle!! Welcome back QUEEN 🥹😍
OMG I just read the Marriage Portrait and it was an easy 5/5! It was the 1560’s drama I didn’t know I needed….highly recommend
Oh how I’ve missed you 🫶🏻 recently just picked up the secret history and my hold on Spare on Libby finally is ready and I’m so excited. I’m currently on the search for the original herd backs for the Percy Jackson series because I’m a big nerd. Alsoooo is that a wedding band I see?? Did the wedding already happen?
Remarkably Bright Creatures was a book that touched me so deeply….loved it so much.
I love Ana’s channel!! I’m so happy you gave her a shoutout so more people can go enjoy her amazing videos 💕
I just read a play by Martin Mcdonagh called “The Pilllowman” which was absolutely fantastic! I’ve loved his movies for a long time but now I want to read all his plays 😊
Remarkably Bright Creatures is my all time FAVORITE book. It's so good. You're going to love it
so good to see you ❤ been missing your videos so much, but of course I’m glad you could take some time off when you needed it 😊
Noelle!! We missed you!! So SO glad to see one of your videos 🥰🥲💖
the Nothing to See Here audiobook is *chef's kiss*
I’m currently reading tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow and it’s pretty goood so far! Almost into chapter 2 😊
I just finished reading “the house in the cerulean sea” and I loved it! I don’t know if I’d ever read it if wasn’t for you recommending it; thank you so much! You’re the best 🥹 I absolutely love your recommendations and am so glad I found you 🤍 sending love from Brazil
Ahhhh lexi and noelle vlog yesssss 🤍🥳😂
The audio of this book is sooo good, I loved it!
I just finished Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan and it was amazing! A divorced couple running a restaurant together, raising their 2 kids, and are still in love with each other after 2 years apart. A story of love, loss, grief, mental health and healing. Really hits you right in the feels.
Congratulations on your wedding Noelle!! I’m in a weird reading place where I’m picking up a lot of books and reading about a third of them, then starting another one… I’ve got like 8 going right now, it’s chaos😫 I think Someone Who Will Love You in All Your Damaged Glory will knock me out of it though! Love it so far. Missed you!
