I find it interesting that the Republican party likes to frame itself as Conservatives having Christian values, yet repeatedly support men and women who according to scripture they should not be supporting at all. In Walker's case 1 Timothy 5:8 Any man who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. This is a difficult condition for anyone, but it should be emphasized that voting for this person is like voting for multiple people; depending on the nature of his condition, he might go from a well mannered person to a reckless and dangerous person just 10 minutes later, only to forget what happened an hour later. It’s a potentially problematic situation and would present a challenge in any line of work. It’s not something to hold in contempt but it could have unpredictable effects in a political office.
