Some minor things to add : 1: the process of unlocking the bootloader of Xiaomi / Poco phones has been increased up to 90 days if you are trying to unlock multiple devices with the same account , sometimes the time taken to unlock can be between 1 week and 1 month ( this was not the case before ) 2: in order to build custom roms for a particular device , we need to obtain the kernel source from the device manufacturer and sometimes we get lucky when the manufacturer releases the kernel source even for mediatek devices And also mediatek is violating the GPL licence which is a free and open source licence used to distribute the kernel as they are not releasing the kernel source to the public And there are some manufacturers like Poco and Xiaomi ( basically 1 brand 2 names ) that do a lot of shady stuff like not releasing kernel source of Poco X4 Pro , breaking vendor partition of Redmi note 7 Pro and also removing kernel source of Poco F4 that they released to the public for no reason and then adding back after 3 weeks 3: One of the reasons why manufacturers don't allow custom roms ( eg Vivo ) is because they have proprietary drivers / code for their smartphone camera which they don't want to be used by others If you have a Xiaomi device then you probably heard about ANX camera , which is basically miui camera for custom roms

Right Now I'm using XiaomiEU 14 Custom Rom 💖 on my Xiaomi 11T Pro and to be honest rom flashing is difficult in new models compare to 1-2 years old models. Old models doesn't require PC while flashing roms but now without PC things getting complicated and too much risky but still it worth it for me ✨ coz I need a clean experience ❤

Custom roms should evolve in the future.. because at the end of an update cycle for a device companies push bad update to it so users will eventually change their device because of its bad battery backup or throttled preference.... example poco F1... I did tried pixel experience, but for some reason I still have privacy concern with them. Incase something happens there's no one to whom you can confront face to face. With the case of stock rom, brands have a huge responsibility to make sure at least everything's okay with user's privacy..
Using Custom Rom PE A13 Extended on my realme X2 pro (Devs stopped Giving updates after A11) had performance and stability issues even during A10 updates, right now i get stable performance and can play heavy games like genshin on 60 fps on lowest/low settings (solo not coop) with stable 1hr performance at least depending on the temperature and environment, no bloatwares can root and turn off cores to save battery and stuff overall it kept my 2.5 year old device relevant at least for what I bought it for that is performance and stability,can even unvolt and overclock GPU and CPU and install custom drivers to improve performance Also Realme after A10 update c.35 or c.38 stopped us from unlocking the bootloader of the device and now even locking the bootloader is risky and I have heard that device of some users were bricked also trash custom rom support
I have a Poco M2 Pro ( miatoll) from 2020 and using PE A13 since last 3 months. Previously I was using Arrow OS but since it dropped the support I had to shift to PE. The custom rom support for miatoll devices is so extensive. 98% rom have support for these devices.

I think people should choose custom roms because they are more customizable. Not only customizable they give you the full access. Major drawback of using custom roms is issues with banking apps as many banking apps are nowdays not working even with developer options unlocked ..And google is changing Safty net policy which will eventually brick all banking apps on custom roms in future..
Nope you can use that without root it's pretty straight forward on any custom rom and even with root just need to install a magisk module and you're good to go

Looks like you lack the basic knowledge, better not flash custom stuffs.
As long as you don't give root permission, you are basically safe and this times phones need not to be rooted to install custom rom

Major drawback of using custom roms is issues with banking apps as many banking apps are nowdays not working even with developer options unlocked ..And google is changing Safty net policy which will eventually brick all banking apps on custom roms in future..

If you're using an old device, safety net is passed by default. No need to flash any magisk module to fix it.
Nope you can use that without root it's pretty straight forward on any custom rom and even with root just need to install a magisk module and you're good to go
