After they filmed this scene they went on to party for another hour or so after the cameras stopped and even dedicated the entire performance to Lin for making such a moving piece of art like this. I keep wanting to see a recording of that because as a Puerto Rican living in the Midwest where my culture is barely represented, watching this film brought so many tears to my eyes because I felt seen, I felt heard and I felt like I was apart of this musical. Seeing that type of celebration and thankfulness is heartwarming and Lin deserves every ounce of it
