Infinity castle covers 43 chapters which would be 3 movies just under 2 hours each. Then the final arc is around 20 chapters so maybe they’ll also make a movie but it would be a longer one

Avoiding spoilers is almost impossible honestly, I got spoiled back in 2022 and I just picked up the manga and read it. Same with Aot and JJK
I've read the manga, too, and it doesn't take anything away from watching the show for me.
I mean, avoiding spoilers isn't hard if you are conscious about it and make the effort to stay away from the internet. It's common sense that googling, comment sections, social media, wikis and RUclips are absolutely full of spoilers, so these are the places to avoid if you want to enjoy a story spoiler-free.
I just stay away from Twitter and I've been spoiler-free for jjk. I do get tempted to read the manga every now and then. Anime makes it worth the wait.

Ufotable did the Heaven's Feel movie trilogy about 1 year gap each movie with about 2 hrs runtime each. So we can have that as a basis for this.

From a manga reader's perspective, Demon Slayer is a PERFECT adaptation. The anime has done nothing but bring the story to life on-screen and added to it in meaningful ways.

@@haydenberends3905 It's not just a perfect adaptation, it's better than anything we could have hoped for. The manga is average at best and if we're being serious the story isn't particularly special either. It's the anime that brought Demon Slayer to life and it's the anime that brings 95% of the enjoyment.

Yea, as a tip for those who dont know how to avoid spoilers. ALWAYS look away from the search bar when you search up a character name. IF they actually died itll be one of the first things that pop up. Only look back once you press enter as all the other searches will dissappear

They definitely did what they had to to build it up. After all, this is a single night's battle. It takes a good story with great characterization to make you care about one single night across several characters' PoV.

idk if you guys have seen Fate but the 3 Heavens Feel movies were released in 2017, 2019, 2020. so if it follows that formula, that's 2025, 2027, 2028.
also yes. there's still another arc after Infinity Castle, it's 20 chapters so I'll bet it won't be in the final movie. I also believe they'll turn the movies into episodes like they did for Mugen Train, like maybe 13 episodes to re hype fans before the second and third movie releases. would it be milking? maybe, but I don't think anyone would actually complain.
We just found out these have been finished with storyboarding back in February of last year. So it is very likely it’s 2024/2025, 2025, 2026

Both the entertainment district arc and swordsmith village arc are both 30 chapters and were 11 episodes with 2 double length episodes. So about 4+ hours each season. There are 65 chapters worth of material unanimated so I’m thinking about 9 hours worth. Depending on who you ask and how they split them up, some people consider the end of the story a completely separate arc, so there’s likely a 4th movie after the trilogy. So 4 movies that are 2 hours each sounds right, and then they’ll probably release them in episode form the they did with the train movie.
Crazy that this is the final night of the series.

I'm so happy that you guys appreciate Demon Slayer so much! For Infinity Castle arc, it's a big arc and in the manga, if i remember correctly, there's more than 40 chapters for it. So I think it will be more than 1 hour movie each. The Mugen Train movie was almost 2 hours long and it covers about 13-15 chapters.
What a trailer man! I was genuinely shocked they released it this early and showed us this much. I was jumping from my excitement just alone staring at the random infinity castle shots and that incredible singular tanjiro drawing at the end. Such detail and care put into one Tanjiro drawing... Seeing all the Hashiras in this trailer was mind boggling, holy transitions and edit on those parts too. Ufotable mannn, and that u stands for unlimited budget; you can clearly see that from this exclusive trailer they have fed us with. Was waiting for this reaction from the first millisecond I saw this magnificent work of art they produced in the name of trailer
Can't wait for your reactions! Infinity castle is actually not the last arc. There is one more arc after it which i won't name for spoiler purposes but i think every movie will be atleast 2:30-40 hours. Its a really long arc,the longest arc and its said they will also include the one after and if that's the case then the movies will be pretty long because there is a lot of backstory and hype moments for everyone,i think they will release it per lile 8-12 months at max ,they have released something every year and i think they will try to keep it going.💯

This arc is about to be insane. None of us are ready for what this arc is about to bring. Even for those of us who have read the manga aren’t ready
You don’t have to worry about it losing hype due to time gaps in between, I have read KNY manga ever since I watched season 1, and have reread it multiple times when seasons come out because they still hype! Watching reaction videos like yours do help maintain the hype too lol. And yes, no one ever worries of disappointment of what’s to come. Ufotable has delivered, and with the great material they have for the future, it will honestly break the internet and cinemas.
1 hour movie means 3 episodes length. So 3 , 1 hour movies means 9 episodes approx which is less than Swordsmith village arc. So there's no way the movies will be this short, infinity castle is like more than double the length of Swordsmith village. So i'll go with Carlie & say 2 hours for the first two movies & 150 mins for the third one.

Actually, idk if this is a spoiler or not, but after Infinity Castle, there is one more arc in the Demonslayer Manga.
I’m starting to think (without saying any spoiler since I read the manga) that maybe they will keep Muzan’s fight for a finale season after the movies and the movies would focus only on the uppers. But that’s just my guess and, also, just a thought of mine but I would love to see Ufotable adding more things to the story as they did in Hashira training arc. In fact, I kind of hope they will add extra scenes in the top 3 uppers backstories for example (again, I won’t talk too much about that to avoid spoilers) but I think it would be a cool adding. Personally I’m all for story expansions and anime only contents that Ufotable never disappointed us with 😊

If we take Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen as baseline it is 1hr 50+ min, it was 13 episodes from the manga, so it is expected new movies will be around the same duration

There is SO MUCH left to cover. We're just over 2/3 of the way through the manga material. This movie trilogy cannot possibly wrap up the story. They're going to need to be full length - nearly 2-hour movies like Mugen Train - just to cover Infinity Castle. There's another whole arc after that, plus an epilogue. Reports that these films are the end of Demon Slayer are assumptions based on not knowing the manga. As for the timing, I'm hoping they release as soon as every six months, with all three by the end of 2025, but that's overly optimistic, probably. I won't blame you if you see the films at the theater and then react to them on a second viewing once they're on Crunchyroll.

The first movie comes out april of next year. Gonna have to wait for a while. It's going to take 3-5 years for all 3 movies to come out overall. This arc is the most peak and action packed so yeah we gotta wait an eternity for peak greatness.

UFOTABLE is always known for animation...because i played most of the tales series games from ps1 to ps5 games...their opening sequence of the games are soo good i wish they could convert it anime series...the only i know of is Tales of the Abyss from PS2 game and the old Tales of Eternia from PS1 and most tales series have OVA...
