There's a discussion online which i stumbled upon on Kagaya's leadership which is great read. On the surface level, he and muzan are polar opposites but the more you go through his decisions in the corps the more you see his parallels with muzan. Just different intentions.
fr dude, cause all we've seen from him pretty much so far is him just being calm besides his backstory of course, but to hear him scream like that was so bone chilling and i loved it
Remember Inosuke has zero context as to what's happening. My dude was just minding his business, trying to eat a tempura and he suddenly gets teleported in the demon realm. From his perspective, he has no idea what the fuck's going on. And what does he do? He puts his mask on, laughs like the good old mad lad he is and gets ready to kick a lot of demon ass. Man's an absolute chad. He has that "Idk what's happening, but I wanna fight anything that moves!" energy.
@TestTubeBaba Inosuke single-handedly lifts the mood of the entire story. He's the single funniest character and consistently brings levity when it's needed, along with having great development and being a great fighter. It's why he's my favorite character.
Ps. The twins were there because making it known that they were there would lower Muzan's guard, since it was less likely for a big trap to happen if his kids were there. Little did he know they are ALL insane, they are commited.
It was explained in the manga that Kagaya's voice inhabits the '1/F Fluctuation' or 'pink noise.' It's a type of frequency that makes people calm. A lot of public speakers, like politicians, have that (yes it's a real thing). In season 1, when Tanjiro met Kagaya, he said that his voice made him feel like he was floating. That's why Muzan was this calm. It could also be the case that Muzan had a child after he became a demon, and because of that, children from the Ubuyashiki family were born with a genetic defect that was just passed down. In the early 1900s, medicine in Japan wasn't that advanced, so people would just call illnesses a curse. Also it would make sense that if they defeat him, his influence on Ubuyashiki would disappear together with other demons. But it could go either way. Kagaya's speech about stepping on a tiger's tail and unleashing the dragon's wrath also alludes to yin and yang. Muzan isn't alive or dead; he just exists. He is stuck in a state between life and death, creating an imbalance. That's why Kagaya mentions the tiger and the dragon, which represent yin and yang. Muzan is BETWEEN the tiger and the dragon, destroying the harmony. It's almost as if, because Muzan has lived past his lifespan, he is drawing the life force from the Ubuyashiki family just to balance it out. I also love how this show handles the existential theme of eternity, contrasting the eternity of demons with that of humanity. It emphasizes that permanence should not be sought in the flesh but in metaphysical concepts. The hanafuda earring, Kagura dance, Yoriichi Type 0, and the sword hidden inside itᅳall of these are examples of this theme. They are important not because they are material things, but because of the sentimental and emotional value they inherit. They were passed down, serving as evidence of someone's existence, their feelings, and their connection to this world even after their physical form is gone. It also ties into Muzan's monologue about change and why he dislikes it from the previous season. He desires an unchanging eternity, while human eternity is constantly changing. Feelings, knowledge, values, and traditions change as they are passed on to new generations and evolve over time. As well we change over time both our bodies and minds. Can you really say that you're alive when there is no change in your emotions, body, and mind? Even plants wilt and change over time. Muzan as a character represents humanity's natural impulse/drive for survival, stagnation, and loneliness in death; he is the antithesis to humanity's concept of eternity. The whole setup for their conversation was great. The contrast between a man on his dying bed lecturing, the being that existed for more than thousand years, about the nature of permanence is fantastic. This creates a unique characters dynamic within the conversation.

"Why do people click on the video if they dont like demon slayer" - it's simple, they're so offended by the show's success/popularity that they feel the need to shit on it in comment sections to try to stop the hype surrounding it
It genuinely astounds me that ppl still say the show is only carried by its animation. Meanwhile you can pause thousands of moments in the show and get a freaking painting. They have no comprehension of actual artistic quality. Character design. Music. All they want is the most complicated plot they can get so they can pretend they’re smarter than everyone else. But demon slayer’s story is simply beautiful and tragic. It doesn’t need to be anything else except that. Tragic and beautiful
@@NobleVagabond2552 yeah i agree its a story that goes in a simple way no complicated twistes and turns tells us the story about the characters how they all join together to defeat one evil..
Alot of people hate on Demon Slayer because it's fairly linear and because there is no grandiose story with crazy twists and turns like AOT, FMA:B, Code Geass and others; but it doesn't need one!!! It's great in it's own rights, while it doesn't leave you thinking and digging for more information about what this character really meant and what their true intentions are and so on and so forth- It hypes you up, makes you go WOAHHH and then cry 20 seconds apart. That's what makes this show good- not to mention backstories we have yet to see, the amazing fights that are coming and the GOD DAMN ANIMATION. It's a great show, and if you think otherwise; Shut up :)
So so so true. I hate this stigma that demon slayer is “carried by animation” and has subpar writing. Sure the overall PLOT of the story is generic, but the writing in this series is absolutely phenomenal. The backstories are so well written, the parallels are evident and the character dynamics are also extremely interesting. This is one of the only shows I’ve ever cried so damn hard to, then shouted out in pure excitement and hype the very next minute. This show also doesn’t get enough credit for the soundtrack and voice acting. I’d say those two things are the reason I enjoy this show so much more than every other anime. Combine those with the stellar animation and amazing writing, and you have an emotional masterpiece with some of the best action in any anime ever. Thank you for listening to my TED talk
Agreed. Plot twists aren't automatically good just because they successfully confused or surprised the audience. They can add to a story but are wholly unnecessary. Demon Slayer is great without resorting to tricks.
@@alkan68 Animation absolutely matters, there's a bunch of different styles of animation that all look good and make a show just look prettier overall. You can't tell me that you would watch an anime with poor animation quality, it has to be appeasing to look at. Demon Slayer is in that upper echelon of animation styles and fluidity. Also, the critiques on the writing is fair, but it isn't bad writing; It's fairly solid with some highs and lows, it's not like every single anime ever has perfect writing. No one here is calling this show the greatest ever and it really isn't close, but it has YOU watching the episodes. Which for someone coming into a comment section to critique it- is pretty ironic considering something about it has drawn you in.
I KNOW RIGHTTT😭😭😭 epic moments I got chills from those as well, and then gyomei’s entrance, which I’ve watched like 30 times now still gives me goosebumps every single time
Without spoiling I am assuring you all that every single fight from now on is going to break the internet. It's so good that I literally got goosebumps while reading manga. Believe me people are not ready for what's coming 🔥🔥🔥🔥
22:46 ange just literally said my words😭😭... I watched the ep yesterday night and for this whole day i watched that ep so many many times!!!! Those moments dont fail to give goosebumps now even!
Zenitsu's demeanor, aura gave me boosebumps! He looks very serious now and the only one who's not concerned whule fallin into Muzan's lair. 😳 It seems like we're gonna see him in action fully awake and I'm sooo ready for it!
That 10 second Muzan vs Gyomei clip perfectly replicated that feeling I got watching Tengen vs Gyutaro and Saber vs Rider (from fate series) and I never thought I’d get that feeling again. Infinity Castle will be generational
Another info guys, if you guys read the translate lyrics of the opening song, the song is literaly saying the word that ubuyashiki told musan about eternity 🔥
S tier episode. Major props especially to the voice actors for Ubayashiki, Gyomei, Tamayo, Sanemi, and Tanjiro. The visuals for KnY are always praised (for good reason, obvi) but the sound design and performances this ep made it for me.
I was just thinking about it, and Ubayashiki asking Guinea to let him sacrifice himself does work parallel to Gyomei’s story where the kids were too scared and ran away instead of trusting him to protect them. Basically the master was asking Gyomei to do what he wanted the children to do and trust their father figure to look out for him. And credit to Gyomei for being able to live up to that when you know every part of him wanted to take things into his own hands the same way those children did.
During the scene where the hashiras were running, the only thing in my mind was "Where's Gyomei?!" Little did I know, he was about to make the most epic entrance to blast 50% of Muzan's Body! 🔥 💪
Now THIS is how you do a freaking cliffhanger! I didn't think Demon Slayer was gonna outdo episode 10 of the Entertainment District arc till the fights in the Infinity Castle, but I think they just did with this one. Edit: Anyone notice they've changed the video title multiple times? Ah well, can't argue the current title. "The Greatest Demon Slayer Episode Of All Time!!" Heck YEAH, it is!
Lmaooo yeah I did notice that, I like this current one they have because I completely agree. The greatest demon slayer episode and one of the best anime episodes I’ve ever seen in my life.
3 MOVIE TRILOGY has been announced, I can say that they deserved it... Its crazy for doing a year but for a production that gives justice! HANDS DOWN UFOTABLE!
Sanemi’s voice actor is also one of my favorite. I also had the pleasure to meet him at LA Anime Expo. Tomozaku Seki is a very recognizable and prolific seiyuu as Kenjiro Tsuda who voice Nanami. I mean he voiced some of the 90s - 2000s cult favorites such as Van from Escaflowne to Gilgamesh in the Fate series.
Greatest anime episode. Greatest clip hanger I have ever seen before. I literally cried, not because of I became sad, I became so much excited. My family became awake for my screaming. Great episode.❤❤
Loved the reaction! I was waiting for it the whole day FYI: it was said in the manga that these two kid (of 5 kids total) much like their mother, never left their fathers side. So it’s very likely it was their decision.
Another Information : the fight Animation choreographer who Worked with ufo table for the Entertainment District arc will be back to be involved in the 3 movies. You got a Little glimpse of his work in This Episode , when the Stone hashira fought against muzan. Guys we are gonna eat good !
I think the Master's family being there with him was a ploy to get Muzan to let his guard down. That's why he was saying what a mental case the head of the Demon Slayers was.
The last part is so hyped! I really like how the camera angle is showing all the characters and in the end back to Tanjiro the main character which did not take huge part of the episode. I like how the camera travels , then Giyu looks up and scream Tanjiro! And also Muzan probably only knows Tanjiro’s name within the demon slayer corps.
Love how Carlie cried for the master, most of others were just excited or suprised by the explosion, not express any emotions for the master's last words.
The Master went out like the badass he was. His plan might not have worked fully but it rattled Muzan and gave everyone enough time to unite together and most importantly it is the fuel that will set their hearts ablaze.
The fact that even the most emotionless Hashiras were this worried and shocked....... Shit's going down! This ep was epic, the trilogy better not disappoint.
I love and appreciate your analysis at the end. Mindblown to realize what Muzan's defeat entails. Ubuyashiki already knows and holds the eternity that Muzan can only hope for.
Carlie I’m a 46 years old father of three and I had a tear streaming down my face 70% of the time. This is the absolute peak of visual art/story telling.
Great reaction! I’ll never understand the Demon Slayer hate. Such a great show. They put out a teaser for the movie trilogy but it’s really more of an announcement
This episode was a banger man the conversation between muzan and kagaya was on point he made him so mad and yet he was smiling ❤ and the transition when crow shouts for emergency summon gives me rush to go there and help him and kagaya really blew him up like a legend and man gyomei when he showed up I was like you angei stood up from my couch and screamed like hell ( my parents were mad after that too 😅) and he took muzan's head like a boss proved that he's the strongest hashira for nothing 💪💪 and also when all hashira using their own attacks rushing on him and the infinity castle scene was on peak and our boy zenitsu is not scaredy cat anymore he means business now and at last the rengoku again made us cry just speaking to its 2 best students and they will win for sure and that Michael Jackson's hee hee was so funny tho 😂 ( fun fact : after yorichi gyomei was the 2nd person to attack muzan and he took him apart 🔥)
Zenitsu wasn't asleep. He was calm and poised and had his eyes closed. It makes you think Zenitsu is asleep like he had to be in any fight to that point. Then he opens his eyes and doesn't change. He's awake and not panicking. That moment said so much with very little.
Now THIS is what absolute PEAK looks like!

Forreal. Just cause something is simple doesn't mean it can't also be well-made. I wish people would get that through their thick skulls.
Agreed. Plot twists aren't automatically good just because they successfully confused or surprised the audience. They can add to a story but are wholly unnecessary. Demon Slayer is great without resorting to tricks.
Animation doesn't matter..
Muzan’s entrance: 🕺🏻🌫️
Gyomei’s entrance: 🚁☄️
Ubuyashiki’s exit: 💣💥
LMAO
Ubuyashiki just murdered his whole family
@@LuisSierra42 ... Look at the opening of this season again 😊

I heard it too I almost choked on my drink😂
Commas, people. Commas.
That was dirty 😂
LMFAO I was like wait a sec!! Wtfff lol
When I saw sanemi had this level of respect for someone like master , at that moment i knew master was a goat. 😎😎😎😎
The OST, the animation, the speech and even the Taisho secret section. Everything was 🔥
Seeing all the Hashira united in purpose, fear and anger was so cool when they're usually so at odds. Got me giddy.
fact that kagaya’s wife and children was there to make muzan be comfortable and not too suspicious…
Every time I watch him himejima entry got goosebumps
No matter how many times I watch
Ufotable is something else
Animators: How hard do you want the animation to go for this episode?
Ufotable: Yes.
Tanjiro screaming “MUZAN” and zenitsu falling through the temple both gave me the most intense chills i can remember ever getting from any show.
I KNOW RIGHTTT😭😭😭 epic moments I got chills from those as well, and then gyomei’s entrance, which I’ve watched like 30 times now still gives me goosebumps every single time
15:15 lmaooo that hee-hee took me out😭

They just HAD to 😅
That was uncalled for 😂

The slipped in "heee heee" when muzan smiled got me weezing

22:46 ange just literally said my words😭😭... I watched the ep yesterday night and for this whole day i watched that ep so many many times!!!! Those moments dont fail to give goosebumps now even!
Glad to see I’m not the only one who was giddy when Gyomei came sliding through. So good
The reaction on Gyomei's entrance is understandable 😂. Can't wait for the first movie of the trilogy
Zenitsu's demeanor, aura gave me boosebumps! He looks very serious now and the only one who's not concerned whule fallin into Muzan's lair. 😳 It seems like we're gonna see him in action fully awake and I'm sooo ready for it!
BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TWO SINCE MORNING YALL, WERE ON FOR A RIDE, THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM IS OVER SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU GUYS ALL THE WAY HERE✨
They really used that taisho secret thing to break us even more but also to give us strength to wait for the movies
Bro himegima gyomei came in like a helicopter 😂😂
You know how good a show is when a scene as simple as a guy opening his eyes gave you chills.
The fact that gyomei stomped the head of muzan the demon king , without a mark or a red hot blade speaks volume .
You guys have no idea how the anticipation for this episode was! Love your guys’ reaction. I cried and cried again! Great episode! ❤️
THAT ENDING WAS SICKENING 😭😭😭😭
Youre damn right. Sickening
More like sickeningly HYPE. Probably the best cliffhanger I've EVER seen!
@haydenberends3905 Yeah, I know it's like ange usually says lol. I referred it here
that final scene was the response of muzan to ubuyashiki eternity, if he kills every demon slayer tonight that will be the end of that
When gyomie stops praying, we gotta start praying 💀😂
During the scene where the hashiras were running, the only thing in my mind was "Where's Gyomei?!"
Little did I know, he was about to make the most epic entrance to blast 50% of Muzan's Body!
@@andertap_silvaroidForreal. Just pure, unfiltered hype for forty straight minutes.
3 MOVIE TRILOGY has been announced, I can say that they deserved it... Its crazy for doing a year but for a production that gives justice! HANDS DOWN UFOTABLE!
The moment I finished watching this episode yesterday, just one sentence came to my mind. "This is MENTAL" in Ange's voice! XD
When the most cheerful person is silent.. You know someone fcked up..
Letz go zen❤
I love Gyomei so much. You gotta give credit to his VA and Muzan’s VA. They both killed it like holyyy shhhitititi
FACTSSS im so glad someone mentioned Muzan’s amazing voice acting this episode
@@andertap_silvaroid RIGHT like wtf
Loved the reaction! I was waiting for it the whole day
FYI: it was said in the manga that these two kid (of 5 kids total) much like their mother, never left their fathers side. So it’s very likely it was their decision.
16:00 the bonus we never asked but much needed , we are blessed for it
Our boy Gyomei didnt disappoint!!! What a mountain of a man ❤😊
Another Information : the fight Animation choreographer who Worked with ufo table for the Entertainment District arc will be back to be involved in the 3 movies.
16:12 My boy Zenitsu is LOCKED IN👏🔥👏🔥
And then there's Inosuke laughing out of excitement while falling😂😂
also Zen being the only one calm was awesome to see
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS🙏😭😂🔥
Love how Carlie cried for the master, most of others were just excited or suprised by the explosion, not express any emotions for the master's last words.
Y’all hit every moment I wanted with the enthusiasm I know you always deliver with. I was out of my seat at the Himejima tag-in
Yes, I`ve been waiting for this
I love and appreciate your analysis at the end. Mindblown to realize what Muzan's defeat entails. Ubuyashiki already knows and holds the eternity that Muzan can only hope for.
15:15 Freaking died when I heard “hee-hee” 😭
Me too man, I can't help it HAHAHAHAHA
It's real ? Heheh
Straight up 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Carlie I’m a 46 years old father of three and I had a tear streaming down my face 70% of the time. This is the absolute peak of visual art/story telling.
Muzan: Tonight, I will massacre all of you.
Murata: I'm not trapped in here with you, you're trapped in here with me.
Everything in this Episode is soo Unbreathable for me! 10/10 Score

THEY CANT DO US LIKE THAT W ENDING IT RIGHT THERE!!
My fav reaction channel ❤love seeing the episode with gou guys literally. You two are so genuine with your reacrions.
Zenitsu wasn't asleep. He was calm and poised and had his eyes closed. It makes you think Zenitsu is asleep like he had to be in any fight to that point. Then he opens his eyes and doesn't change. He's awake and not panicking. That moment said so much with very little.
This is hands down the best reaction I've ever seen to this episode, hats off to you two!! 👏👏
