I had my emergency appointment with psychiatrist this morning and we are taking me off of Zyprexa and starting me back on Rexulti (Brexpiprazole) after being off of it for 2 years.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It seems like many people who have substance abuse issues develop psychosis bipolar, and in some cases Schizophrenia. I wonder if Cannabis can also cause these issues or just the hard drugs? Some people believe that Cannabis helps them with their bipolar, focus, and anxiety, but unsure of that. However, some people say that it can cause people to have psychosis eventually especially if they have bipolar type 1. Please let me know how this drug goes cause my friend is about to take it. Thanks!
How much Zyprexa were you on? I'm going to be starting Rexulti and am scared. I thought about Caplyta but it says it causes restlessness and I don't need that. I'm going off Zyprexa. I was on Vraylar prior to that.
Lol I know it's rediculous lol. I still have to take Zyprexa at least for tonight. I can't get the Rexulti from the pharmacy yet until after 2pm tomorrow.
Hi Cory, did you gain weight on rexulti and how much? I was on abilify and gained 60lbs and then invega which I gained 20lbs. Now I'm on rexulti 1mg and worried about the side effects of fatigue, faintness and weight gain
Hi Leo! Well I also had a bad experience with Abilify, I was on it and it caused severe akathesia, and because of the akathesia I couldn't do anything, and because I couldn't do anything I gained a lot of weight on it too. And I also gained around 20-25 pounds on Invega, and roughly 10 pounds on Latuda. The way it was explained to me is Rexulti is like a newer improved version of Abilify with less side effects than Abilify. I have never experienced fatigue, faintness, or weight gain on Rexulti. But just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone else so you really need to talk with your doctor about it. My Mom for example didn't like Rexulti, she had a bad reaction to it. So really you never know.

I just started the rexulti tablets, I don't feel any side effects so far, I don't know if it will build up. I still have side effects from invega. Rexulti seems like the right choice for you, hope you do well on it.

Rexulti worked day one for me made me feel weird and I only took half a milligram lol bout to go up to 1 ml
I hope Rexulti works. 15 - 16 hours is ridiculous.
