For Polish people this game is a national treasure because it's based on books every kid in Poland knows. It's like Harry Potter for British kids. So when everybody plays Witcher around the world and has to know Geralt's story it makes us unbelieveable proud
lol, not every kid in Poland knows Witcher just from books. These are for more mature audience actually. And to be more added, it was absolutely skipped in my "learning years".
Me redownloading the shit every 7 months to reexperience the ominous dread of hearts of stone leading into the wonderous fantasy of blood and wine. Truly incomparable.
It's so good to know I'm not alone, at least in 2023, since everyone played the game years ago. I'm having health issues so I've had plenty of time in the last 4 months, and decided to play every The Witcher game and DLCs. First, I've played The Witcher 1 (yes, even with people criticizing the gameplay)... Simply felt in love in the dark atmosphere and amazing storyline, the Salamandra and everything... Just ossum. Then, I've ran into The Witcher 2. Politic plots, graphic and gameplay improvements, amazing boss battles... What a game. And we're come... The Witcher 3. I feel I'll never play something like this again. It's a world apart. I'm so grateful for this game, it made forget the suffering I was going trough. I hope they'll make different things for the next games, cause repeating what they did here is impossible.
@@sherifehab7114 I'm thinking about it... Is it necessary to play the first 2 games? I know I didn't needed to play the first The Witcher games but I felt rewarded doing so. But now I don't have the time I had before...
I hear and read a lot of people saying Blood and Wine is superior to Hearts of Stone. But for me, it has always been the other way around. Don't get me wrong, B&W is a fantastic expansion and very close to or better than HOS in some aspects. But the storytelling, the characters like Iris, Olgierd, and Shani, and especially Gaunter, my favorite character in the whole game after Geralt, got me emotionally invested in HOS much more than B&W. Though I like Regis a lot, he is one of my favorites in the game. I would like to hear others' thoughts on this.
HOS story is much better Blood and wine but Blood and Wine is a total package that's why I prefer it but I wouldn't disagree if anyone says that HOS is better.
if I could have one wish fulfilled, it’d be to erase my memory of the Witcher 3. So I could restart it fresh. Honestly the more times I play it the deeper my enjoyment of it gets.
I implore to u give cyberpunk a try .. cdpr has made the 2 best open world games of the last decade by a long shot in my opinion, and if u love W3 this much, u absolutely have to try cyberpunk.. it’s not similar to the Witcher per se, but it has the same special sauce, it has its flaws like W3 does, but it’s just a special game, just like W3…

I’ve been obsessed with this game since I purchased it last year. It’ll never get old 😢
You should read the books if you want to be a REAL fan and not some little kid.
@@RevanBC I’ve read the entire series 5 times…. Beat the game at least 3 times now and I hate the show. Im 33, dude…
