    At this point in time I’m even wondering if the abyss sibling did even a travel through teyvat at all😳. The only places he (I play with Lumine) seemed to have actually visit were the chasm, sumeru (because of Caribert and aranara quest) and MAYBE Fontaine. No one remembers having seen him. And I’m not talking about the irminsul with him being part of teyvat: even without that, the ones with long lifespans (example: archons, adeptus, that dragon race of enkanomiya, etc.) don’t seem to remember anyone that is very similar physically to us with “whatever clothes your certain sibling has”, no matter if it is when we ask them about him or them remembering someone similar to us in the middle of dialogue

    Think of it: if Irminsul has the ability to edit everyone's memory regarding history, it's totally possible that it just deleted the history of its origin, no?
    Other possibility: someone deleted them. But how does such deeds profit them... no idea, and tbh big doubt.

    As for the nature of the Twins this comes down to reconciling the Gnostic Chorus statement with what we know of the motivations of Traveler. And that is hard because the most obvious interpretation of Venti's statement in the Gnostic Chorus is that the Twins are on a mission in Teyvat, but everything we know of the Traveler says they are not on any mission. So they're sent by a king on a mission but when they arrive they don't notice they have a mission? various theories have explained other people as the heirs of the King but they feel off. The best answer reconciles the contradictions so here it is:
    First of all the heirs of the story are not individuals but Aeon pairs (a "syzygy"). Aeon is a word Genshin Impact uses a lot - it's not just from HSR. To be precise the Primordial One is an Aeon, and the Twins are an Aeon pair, a syzygy. Yes syzygy has two meanings in English (1) a pair of Aeons and (2) and eclipse. Yes it's the word used by the Spiral Abyss. The PO lacks a partner because the PO is the Gnostic figure of "Sophia" who was the Aeon with no partner, no syzygy. She screws up by creating the demiurge (the shades - the Unknown God) who then creates the Archons, who report to "Celestia". The King in the story is basically the Monad of Gnosticism who is the boss of all Aeons and the supreme being. PO is first heir and Twins are second. But the story is a metaphor. The "King" is not a supreme god but the government of the primordial human home world (Earth) which was an advanced star faring race that was destroyed a long time ago. The PO is part of an Ark fleet sent out with the mission to seed human life throughout the universe. Hence the PO has an Ark with human DNA and the DNA of a ton of other Terran species (invasive species). This is the act of Genesis represented by the Genesis pearl. The Twins are sent out to basically ... check out how that whole project is going. And yes this has huge HI3 vibes but it's not HI3. The humans were powerful enough to create gods and they themselves were gods. The PO is the big god in charge of the Ark but the Ark is crewed by Seelie who themselves are incredibly powerful - at least compared to anything going on in Teyvat these days. These gods are "programmed" to nurture humanity, and that's why the PO loves humans and so does every living thing the PO creates, including the lesser gods, the non-Celestial gods, the elemental gods if you like. The Twins are "travelers" because they are visiting many different human settled colony worlds. So when they arrive at Teyvat they don't particularly think it's anything special. But the Sibling figures out shit went bad here somehow. For some reason they wake the Traveler and don't tell them. Traveler thinks oh well time to move to the next world since this one is having a war. Maybe double back and visit in a century or five, right? No hurry. But after getting stranded they gradually come to understand there's some weird stuff going on with this planet. The prime Ark god was damaged or malfunctioned somehow. The world was invaded by something. It's a mess. So when they meet up in 1.x the Sibling says "we got some shit to do before we can leave" but doesn't explain what. Very confusing. But they do say "I can't tell you directly but I can tell you to explore the rest of the nations as you are doing and then you'll figure it out." And then they say "please stop beating up my dudes will ya?" But we ignore that bit.

    Irminsul? atm I am rather convinced it's the Second Who Came. They just turned into a tree, like the Aranara. Later on the tree itself created an avatar -> that was Rukhadevata.
    Dottore might have a crack about where Irminsul came from, but I doubt he got it right.
    Istaroth was possibly an active actor throughout this "time", as she was the one who was spreading tree seeds all across the pockets of civilizations in Tevyat.

    • @hellozenn
      @hellozenn  7 месяцев назад +1

      owh that's quite interesting. I also heard about theory where it said that Irminsul could be the remnant of Istaroth that's why it somehow connected to Sakura Tree in inazuma

      @@hellozenn yeah, but I kinda don't subscribe to that idea, considering the whole sun - moon thing.
      there's also the order of the moon sisters, that still confuses me. also the naming sense of melody (which might be a Pegana thing, but no conclusive evidence.)

    Hm. I *think* I've published articles explaining all these mysteries. The hardest is deciding if the Irminsul was around before the Primordial One or not. It seems likely that the Primordial One at least tweaked the tree to suit it's needs. But it also seems likely they sought out a planet where timey-wimeny shenanigans could take place. So a little from both columns (like the hypostases). Clearly the tree is the star of the whole show in terms of raw power, regardless of which interpretation of it's power you use. Power like that doesn't just happen. it's deliberate. But the fate manipulation system was bust during the war with 2nd throne. Otherwise of course the Primordial One could have used it to easily win. Even the bust system is frighteningly powerful. So the Primordial One, 100K years ago or whenever, is looking out for a suitable planet to plant humanity following the Fall. It has the ability to terraform a toxic environment, so that is NOT a consideration. Why pick Teyvat? Because it had an easily manipulated or weak fate system naturally. And that was important because the Primordial One really wanted to run a few scenarios multiple times over shall we say. We don't know the details but some weird timey-wimey shit was going down. Well - I'm sure it was all for the best reasons!

      @@hellozenn not exactly. For the traveler we know that the sibling got summoned somehow but we don't know if we also got summoned or anything.
      Traveler (and the sibling) lore is the thing I'm the most interest in now, with Celestia.
      I know people are still curious about Fatui but after Fontaine Archon Quest, I have kinda loose interest in them
      Also still unsure if the abyss is part/on Teyvat or something from outside
      The 'gods' may be descending from the Seelies or being nature incarnation (even if I don't really believe that later one)

    • @hellozenn
      @hellozenn  7 месяцев назад

      @@hirods9889 It seems like the sibling's statement about their traveling across the world kinda become questionable, cause of that summoning.
      Fatui on the other hand, well, doing fatui things. XD, as for the abyss, yeah truee Teyvat cosmology is kinda messy right now hahahahaha....
      as for gods, currently, the most popular one is they are from the same source, and the biggest candidate of that is Seelie so far, but still it's kinda weird....

    This is just my crazy theory, dont you find it weird traveler is 4th decender and there 4 shades of primordial one ? Coincidence ?
    Or maybe the twins is actually the 3rd who came after the heavenly principle. We are the one who gonna rule tevyat & topple the heavenly principle from their throne.

    • @hellozenn
      @hellozenn  7 месяцев назад

      tbh, that's quite interesting take. iirc, i have made a video about similar idea like yours in the past, basically it was around The Heavenly Principles as the 1st Descenders, Seelie Ancestor as the 2nd Descenders, Istaroth as the 3rd Descenders, and The Twins as the 4th Descenders. Idk if my takes back then still hold or not XD
