- A complete tour of my favorite shopping mall in Las Vegas, the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Casino and Resort. The Grand Canal Shoppes is known for its unique and picturesque design that replicates the charm of Venice, Italy. The shopping area is designed to resemble the Grand Canal in Venice, complete with indoor canals where visitors can take gondola rides. And definitely the coolest part is St Mark's square, built to resemble the square of the same name in Venice Italy.

One of the things I’ve loved most about Venetian is that a lot of the look of the place is surprisingly accurate to the source…I spent an entire month traveling around Italy in the 1980’s with my Nonna (who delighted in spoiling her only Grandson with sights of her homeland) and I have such vivid memories of the grand shopping galleries in the major cities…this was built with a surprising architectural fidelity that just is so pleasing to those like myself who are reminiscing of long ago pleasant moments!

I've been there many times. One of my favorite places. Love the gondola rides, the drivers sing Italian songs. And I love the musical acts at St. Marks Square.
Not sure if they still have them but the human statues were a great sight to watch, too.
Even though I am kinda sad Vegas has lost it's fun lustre, it's still a nice place to visit.

I always enjoy walking around in the Venetian. Nice vibrant atmosphere there. Just wanted to mention that you missed an opportunity right at the end of your video to show the view of the Sphere from the walking bridge.

It's expensive but the Venetian is probably my favourite hotel in Vegas given the scale of everything it offers.

Mercato della Pescheria is a good dining option in the Square. We enjoy the atmosphere, service and it’s reasonably priced

Such a big shame that there are no more Streetmosphere performers (e.g. Living Statues & Opera Singers) anymore at St Mark's square. They were my favorite attraction at the Venetian. Unfortunately one more great free Vegas attraction does away ! 😢😢😢
