love cruises, mostly for the ocean views and not having to worry about a language barrier too much for a full week..
When you leave the ship at the end of the cruise, the official term is (I believe) "disembark". "Debark" sounds like something else...involving a dog.
Hah! Indeed. Mental slip!
Deboat Hahahahahaha lolollololololol
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing all the details!
Thank you for sharing your experience. It is very important for me as a first timer on the Disney cruise
Thanks Vila!
Although I’m not planning on taking a Disney cruise anytime soon, I did find this to be a very interesting video.❤
Awesome... you know you want to meet Captain Mickey! 😀
Have an a amazing trip
Thanks for this super helpful video!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Also a pro tip if you are traveling far to get to your cruise, arrive 1 day early... Do not book your airline the same day the cruise leaves. They will not wait for you if something goes wrong!
Great point Twinsen!
Checking the luggage really makes things easier. You don't want to have to drag it around, even if you're just taking it to your room.
Love your videos! Ty!
Thanks PawPaw!
Like number 100! All your videos are so great sir. I look forward to using all your tips and tricks for my travels and currently use them for my travels.
Thanks so much!
I booked two weeks ago for a May 2026 sailing and we requested and were given early (5:45) dining at that time.
Nice
I can't believe Disney of all companies still have the drill done this way. I just got off Royal Caribbean and they just had us watch a video on our phone, go to our muster spot and check-in at any time before we left to sail and was super smooth.
That sounds so much better!
This was a great description of a Disney cruise! I would be hard pressed to think of anything you left out.
PS If you enjoy descriptions of cruises, search RUclips for "Emma Cruises".
Thanks so much Richard!
Nice
Hi Chris. Thanks for the very informative video. Any cruises planned for next year? Take care.
Thanks James.. not yet 😀
Any other Cruise you can recommend?
Hi, I saw a lady holding a little dog, looked like a Yorkie, on board on the last day . Is this a "Pet-Friendly" cruise or was he there as a Service Animal do you think? Asking for my Yorkie? : )
From the Disney cruise website "No animals are allowed on board the ships except for service animals. Disney Cruise Line must be notified at least 72 hours prior to sailing if a service animal is to be brought on board the ship."
So me and my wife have a passport taking our 23 yr old daughter womt have time to get a passport so do we take a pic of her dr lic instead of a passport? For online check in
Well.. if your cruise is visiting any other countries you need a passport. So not sure if you're just on a domestic cruise
@@YellowProductions WELL ME and my wife 2 years ago went on a cruise with just a DR lic and BC and we visited Cozumel jamaica etc didnt need a passport went on carnival out of tampa..
I went on a cruise on my honeymoon. Safe to say i will never go on a cruise again, was not a good experience at all!
Sorry to hear that Bobo. What didn't you like about it?
Saying that “Disney is more expensive than other cruise lines” is an Understatement! It is Dramatically more than comparable cruises on just about any cruise line…like at least twice the cost if not three times as expensive…we were pricing the Alaska cruise we took this past June for our 30th anniversary and Disney Wonder charged $8100 for an accessible balcony cabin and Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Sea (which is about twice the size of Wonder, also) was $2600 for a slightly larger accessible balcony cabin…MORE THAN THREE TIMES THE COST FOR THE SAME CRUISE…sorry, but there is just NO way that we could justify the expense
Ooof. Yeah. That's an astronomical price difference
I have found it depends on the timing of the cruise, if it's a themed cruise, and when you book. I found a comparable cruise with Carnival and then calculated the drink package in and other things and the Carnival cruise got close to the price of the Disney. However it was with 800 dollars.
So I guess I'd, in that example, be paying 800 for meet and greets, Disney live shows, and early access to Disney movies
