Xuv700 would definitely be leap and bound ahead. The interior of this car though improves still have sime rough edges which is a bit disappointing. Rattling should he iron out in the nwxt gen and overall cabin quality should be improved. They have done cost chtting on some important aspects like IRVM which be auto simming atleast in the top two trims considering the price. Hope mahindra will addeess these concerns. And yes add a bit more weight to the steering as it feels vague at high speeds.

Good review. I wanted to add 4 points being a Owner of W11(Optional) AT. Which you might have overlooked. 1) LED DRL are dimming automatically when you switch on the head lamps or Left / Right turning indicators are in action. This is actually helping oncoming vehicle or persons safety & better visibility. 2) On the 3rd Row seat both left & right side there is a folding compartment just to side of the 3rd row seat. which can be used for lots of small items storage and ideally kids pencils , screw drivers and tools. 3) 3rd Row seat also having a rear folding lever to open the 2nd row seat easily, so that every time driver no need to fold the 2nd row seat from outside. 3rd row person himself can open while seating 4) When you unlock and lift the Bonnet automatically parking lights switches on till you close the bonnet. I think I have not seen any one of this features in this segment.

Mahindra has to address body roll issues on its cars. At a price point of 20 to 24 lakhs, ride and handling matters the most and that's the area where Mahindra has to improve.

Had been waiting for this. The Front WD meant it has unbeleivable understeer and thus the most tyre noise of all of ur vlogs..But xuv is the fastest in highways of all the sub 30 l biggies and the monocoque handling inspires confidence to push it too...When pushed it can keep up to anything on road or even get past...And the most beautiful thing is the fantastic low end in the city too..

Hi ,I want to buy XUV -500 instead of XUV-700 but as per Mahindra’s announcement that they will going to stop the production of XUV500 (after the launch of XUV700) is worried me and mentally not allow me to buy my dream car -XUV500 . I do not want to go for XUV700 due to its high price bracket (expected > 20L) and where I find XUV500 as value for money still in 2021(as compared with other cars) . I am confuse , PLEASE suggest what I can do

I work in Saudi. My company bought an Indian SUV for the first time and unfortunately it is Mahindra xuv 500 W8 automatic. It's been a month now but the vehicle is giving very poor performance i.e. there is a lot of noise from the steering portion of the vehicle and the door windows go down while the car is running and the wrong warning shows that the air is low in the tire.
All this was reported to the Saudi agency but there was no action. so kindly share the customer care in India.

Sir, i am eager to knw if u found any rattles in the car (xuv) because i heard that mahindra's are very much tattle prone and user might have to live with it right since the 1st day of ownership , also are new cars also rattle prone at some extent and should we really consider giving them a fix? Because i own hyundai creta and have the trunk rattling since day one although the noise is too low, but dont knw that i should fix it. But i didnt notice that in other creta's which i drove.
