Kia gives good electronics, style but bad safety. Maruti gives best price and mileage but bad safety and style. Tata gives good looks and price but bad engines.

This car runs 3.80 lakh kilometers still their is no issue in this car.❤ Car running Smooth, we all travel a lot in this SUV in every type of roads, the Pickup is Awesome in hilly area even after all passengers.❤ We are from Nashik, Maharashtra. Only tyres and Lights are change, the Engine sounds like new and punchy.❤ Mahindra is my Favourite Car Brand since my Childhood.❤

I was going to buy XUV700 (AX7 Petrol at 23L on road) but after seeing lots of teambhp posts about reliability and personal opinions of friends who own them I chose Creta N line DCT at 20L, it saved me 3 lakh upfront + has mileage of 17 (tank to tank) and just recently had first service, I'm pleasantly surprised by the activeness of Hyundai personnel. Top notch services! I'm happy with my purchase. And yes I'll choose peace of mind over showbiz any day.

Urban Indians don’t need a larger size than what is offered by C segment suvs. I would be much more attracted towards a car of creta or kushaq size which has amazing performance, dynamics and features with good safety and mileage as opposed to even paying 2-3 lakhs more for a car like xuv700 just because of higher fuel consumption. Mahindra should’ve focused on a C segment suv too imo. They have a unique mix of safety, tech and dynamics that no other company offers with good reliability. I would love a midsize sedan with xuv700 engines and features.

But tata and mahindra need to greatly improve thier service and after sales experience.. some areas have very good dealers but others don't... also, the waiting period scam is very big in mahindra which is not there in tata and even in maruti despite marutis sales being 10 times higher..
That is why they price their cars at a lower rate because they know that initial lot will have issues. Once the customer testing phase has passed and kinks are ironed out, they then increase the price. So purchasing this after a year and a half would make much more sense.
I think its high time mahindra should launch a car named xuv 100(or aomething like next gen-kuv 100) to give competition to punch,exter and fronx type cars.This would make mahindra cars more affordable like tgese cars generally start from 6 lakhs(ex-sh.) And they can be able to target costumers of swift,baleno with this product.This will even make mahindra available in more affordable price.These type of cars are regular cars and evergreen which sale more than 10,000 units every month.

I got my Mahindra AX7L Diesel on 1st March and have been using it for the past 6 months, let me tell its a fucking beast, this car eats rough terrain for breakfast, I have taken it to hills with steep roads and to the rugged beaches as well, have driven it for 7000+ km and its one of the best cars I have ever owned. WORTH EVERY FUCKING PENNY.
Enjoy the fastest suv under 50lakhs we also have Mahindra almost done 80k and car is still looking like it's a brand new and no performance drop if only Mahindra improve their service center

Thar Roxx Roof is the big letdown. Designing team failed there. Scorpio N Back Tail light is the weak point in its design. If Mahindra improves both facelift version designs, it will be a big win for the customers.

Having driven POLO for 10 years, I took test drive of Thar Roxx and Kia Seltos/Sonet recently. The “Thar” Rox! Felt like Seltos-Sonet were underpowered where as Roxx was amazing. Booked it! 🤞🏼

Creta is FWD then why do we call it an SUV? Isn't it just a jacked up hatchback? Similarly why the Thar RWD variant is called an SUV when it isn't even offroad capable?
But it is A Body on Frame and has almost everything to be called as Suv and even the Scorpio Classic is available only in RWD now but Still A SUV compared to those jacked up hatchs
The correct classification of Creta would be a Crossover. It doesn't have the offroad capabilities of a traditional SUV but has more GC than other urban vehicles. It doesn't matter if the vehicle has 4x4 or not to be classified as an SUV. Roxx is a body on frame, boxy high GC vehicle with Electronic locking diffs and solid rear axles and most importantly 4x4 options. Its more than qualified to be labelled as an SUV.
You forgot another major drawback, after sales service. They have one of the worst service despite boasting that they have improved. I also didn't believed untill I faced the problem myself. It has been almost 2 years since I have bought mahindra and they have not issued me second car key. Typical sarkari company feeling you will get in service centres

Mahindra needs to really look at implementing hybrid tech with the petrol engines for better fuel efficiency. The ev bubble seems to be bursting which is early visible in the falling ev sales of nexon nd xuv400.... Xuv700 petrol is an awesome car but with single digit mileage it's just a very bad deal.....
Need of hour is low carbon emission. Mahindra engines do opposite. Mahindra and Tata also lobby against reducing gst of hybrids since they don't have that technology. India desperately needa hybrid cars. It can reduce 20% of fuel imports.
Unwanted opinion: space and a option for 4x4 has always been the ideal choice just my opinion. Compact SUV I honestly feel no good for long road trips over remote places. Livin' in North East India got lots to explore won't always use it but option 4x4 good to know it's got your back in tricky situation. And here it's Thar Scorpio or Fortuner.
5:44 in XUV700 AX7 variant it comes with rear camera only and it does get the ADAS features , with the luxury pack top model in addition to AX7 features you get the 360 camera and some more adas functions. Also as far as i know Thar Roxx is built on different platform which is not shared with Scorpio-N Otherwise, Spot on video!

I was going to buy XUV700 (AX7 Petrol at 23L on road) but after seeing lots of teambhp posts about reliability and personal opinions of friends who own them I chose Creta N line DCT at 20L, it saved me 3 lakh upfront + has mileage of 17 (tank to tank) and just recently had first service, I'm pleasantly surprised by the activeness of Hyundai personnel. Top notch services! I'm happy with my purchase. And yes I'll choose peace of mind over showbiz any day.

Urban Indians don’t need a larger size than what is offered by C segment suvs. I would be much more attracted towards a car of creta or kushaq size which has amazing performance, dynamics and features with good safety and mileage as opposed to even paying 2-3 lakhs more for a car like xuv700 just because of higher fuel consumption. Mahindra should’ve focused on a C segment suv too imo. They have a unique mix of safety, tech and dynamics that no other company offers with good reliability. I would love a midsize sedan with xuv700 engines and features.

But tata and mahindra need to greatly improve thier service and after sales experience.. some areas have very good dealers but others don't... also, the waiting period scam is very big in mahindra which is not there in tata and even in maruti despite marutis sales being 10 times higher..
That is why they price their cars at a lower rate because they know that initial lot will have issues. Once the customer testing phase has passed and kinks are ironed out, they then increase the price. So purchasing this after a year and a half would make much more sense.
I think its high time mahindra should launch a car named xuv 100(or aomething like next gen-kuv 100) to give competition to punch,exter and fronx type cars.This would make mahindra cars more affordable like tgese cars generally start from 6 lakhs(ex-sh.) And they can be able to target costumers of swift,baleno with this product.This will even make mahindra available in more affordable price.These type of cars are regular cars and evergreen which sale more than 10,000 units every month.

From INDICA, SUMO, SAFARI, SEIRRA, TATA ESTATE to NEXON, HARRIER, SAFARI, PUNCH, TIAGO, TIGOR, Tata has come a long way. It's amazing how they've managed to become the number two automaker in India.
It's not fair to blame the company. Both Tata and Mahindra service centers could definitely use some improvement. Saying one is better than the other is like comparing apples to oranges.

Of-course nobody is perfect, but given the size of India, they are improving.

Indian automakers face the challenge of competing with foreign players while catering to Indian consumers. Before 2014, the previous government's red tape and corruption hindered Indian companies like Tata Sons Airlines.
The second topic should be about how Indian automakers can improve their service centers and dealers. This is essential for enhancing the reputation of Indian brands.
Ultimately, the success of foreign companies depends on whether we Indians stop giving our best.

I got my Mahindra AX7L Diesel on 1st March and have been using it for the past 6 months, let me tell its a fucking beast, this car eats rough terrain for breakfast, I have taken it to hills with steep roads and to the rugged beaches as well, have driven it for 7000+ km and its one of the best cars I have ever owned. WORTH EVERY FUCKING PENNY.
Enjoy the fastest suv under 50lakhs we also have Mahindra almost done 80k and car is still looking like it's a brand new and no performance drop if only Mahindra improve their service center

Having driven POLO for 10 years, I took test drive of Thar Roxx and Kia Seltos/Sonet recently. The “Thar” Rox! Felt like Seltos-Sonet were underpowered where as Roxx was amazing. Booked it! 🤞🏼

Creta is FWD then why do we call it an SUV? Isn't it just a jacked up hatchback? Similarly why the Thar RWD variant is called an SUV when it isn't even offroad capable?
But it is A Body on Frame and has almost everything to be called as Suv and even the Scorpio Classic is available only in RWD now but Still A SUV compared to those jacked up hatchs
The correct classification of Creta would be a Crossover.
It doesn't have the offroad capabilities of a traditional SUV but has more GC than other urban vehicles.
It doesn't matter if the vehicle has 4x4 or not to be classified as an SUV. Roxx is a body on frame, boxy high GC vehicle with Electronic locking diffs and solid rear axles and most importantly 4x4 options. Its more than qualified to be labelled as an SUV.

Xuv700 petrol is an awesome car but with single digit mileage it's just a very bad deal.....
If one manufacturer brings in the tech, the other manufacturers with automatically follow suit....

Need of hour is low carbon emission. Mahindra engines do opposite. Mahindra and Tata also lobby against reducing gst of hybrids since they don't have that technology. India desperately needa hybrid cars. It can reduce 20% of fuel imports.

Unwanted opinion: space and a option for 4x4 has always been the ideal choice just my opinion. Compact SUV I honestly feel no good for long road trips over remote places. Livin' in North East India got lots to explore won't always use it but option 4x4 good to know it's got your back in tricky situation. And here it's Thar Scorpio or Fortuner.

5:44 in XUV700 AX7 variant it comes with rear camera only and it does get the ADAS features , with the luxury pack top model in addition to AX7 features you get the 360 camera and some more adas functions. Also as far as i know Thar Roxx is built on different platform which is not shared with Scorpio-N

It's going to cause congestion. Think logically. Moreover NCAPs have blamed the SUVish body style more harmful for pedestrians. We should think of utility first and then buy it.
