Hey Adanna, thanks for this info. I just recently graduated with my undergrad degree. I'm taking a year off before applying to PA . I currently am an ER tech. To anyone who wants to take the GRE test, if you had a major on a field like engineering, maths etc., the quant section will be easy as f. But if your mother tongue is not English (just like me, I am a Turk) the verbal section will be brutal.
I personally scored 170 on quant and 155 on verbal. I was not even expecting 155 on verbal, I was assuming that I was going to get something like 145 - 150 but I suppose I got lucky and got a 155.

    • @AdannaThePA

Both! There are definitely different stages to this but initially they're checking your overall GPA to see if you meet that requirement and then they will move to the science GPA but your science GPA is what holds like the most await I guess you can say however if you're not meeting that initial overall GPA then you're not going to be moved on to the next step

Hi, Adanna, I have a question about doing the verbal part. I know we can use the strategy for solving the verbal reasoning problems. However, I do not have enough numbers of vocabulary. I cannot even understand the problems or the articles. I will take the test next Friday. Do you recommend me remember 3000 words or just practice verbal problem and remember the vocabulary from the problems or do you have any other advice about vocabulary?

    • @AdannaThePA

I would say that you should do what you think is best. For me understanding the words and their meanings were important because I knew I would be able to decipher the verbal reason aspect of the test. You need to assess where you think you need more help and focus on that.

I have been following your video quite some time now and I really appreciated content in your video. In term of GRE, how exactly did you practice math section. I have GRE official guide and it math questions are quite different than we lean in college math classes. I think they are testing more resining rather than concepts. I am applying for PA school this year and I have applied last year for one PA school which is in my city at Virginia Beach and it dose not require GRE, but I did not get it Beach they were asking casper score. I have score very low consider to other application. So I am applying other schools this year with GRE. I have been out from school almost five years and I am kind of struggling with vocabulary and quant section. Anyway, you have been good inspiration for me and thank you so much for your videos.

Hi guys! I just took a GRE practice test to see where I stand. My scores are very disappointing which terrified me of the test. I scored 131V 132Q. I am so discouraged and disappointed. I need that good looking score 155V 155Q and I don’t see it possible from where I stand now. My goal is to prepare for 3 to 4 months.
Does anyone have an experience and can share some tips. I indeed need it.
