- A pretty nice block of classy and classic California style hay-haulers are seen arriving at Truckin' For Kids on Saturday October 5th, 2013. Included are Rich's Hay Connection's Peterbilt 379, DeMello Hay's '98 Peterbilt 362, Salinas Trucking's Peterbilt 379, Myrick Trucking's Peterbilt 362, and two of Hettinga Transpotation Inc. Peterbilt 379's.
Hands down cali hay haulers have some of the best rigs out there...too bad emissions took out alot of a older rigs. Seen many of those rigs rolling up and down the valley.
Yes they sure are some nice rigs. Many of the hay haulers do their trucks up right. For sure sad to see the classics being pushed aside too.

amazing, just seen the rich's hay connection peterbilt yesterday night at the santa nella truck stop along I-5 in california-I had to take some pictures in very stormy conditions during sunset, it was awesome...love these classic hay haulers and along I-5 and I-80 and hwy395 I seen so far the most.
Yeah, a lot of these guys definitely take pride in their rides. It's also neat knowing that these trucks aren't just a bunch of "pretty faces", but that they earn their keep mile after mile out there on the highways.
