SU01 - PFCG - How to create a new user in SAP system and Authorize it to execute transactions

- SU01 is a transaction code used for User Maintenance in SAP. It comes under the package SUSR. When we execute this transaction code, SAPMSUU0 is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background.
Transaction code PFCG is a role maintenance administration to manage roles and authorization data. The tool for role maintenance, the Profile Generator automatically creates authorization data based on selected menu functions. These are then presented for fine-tuning.

What is the significance of the transaction codes PFCG and SU01?
SU01 is used for User maintenance. PFCG is used for Generation of Profiles. SU01 is for the case where the user administrator is logged onto the system and wants to go directly to the user and do some security administration (editing address data, assigning roles, resetting passwords, etc.).

Hi , I want to Give user PFCG access but he should only create ROLES , with NAME starting with Z*? Could u create like such
Yes you can create a role like this:
Create a new role & assign PFCG to that role.
Go to Object: S_USER_AGR and edit the field name: ACT_GROUP and add Z* there, similarly go to object: S_USER_SAS and edit the field: ACT_GROUP and add Z*
Let us know if still any issue.

Hi.. I want to know user who got assigned Auth object S_USER_AGR and S_USER_PRO?
Go to transaction SUIM and expand the node 'USER' and then expand 'USERS BY COMPLEX SELECTION CRITERIA' and then execute 'BY AUTHORIZATION' button and in the 'Authorization object' field enter the object and click on execute, you'll get the desired results.

You can create a new user by following the video, please let me know where exactly you are facing an issue?

If you want to assign a role, use the ROLES tab and if you want to assign a profile, i.e. SAP_ALL then use PROFILES tab.
"No changes for user SAP* allowed
Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'."
Please help me to solve this because i have sap but im unable to practice
As the message is self explanatory, that no changes for user SAP* allowed, so please create a new user and then perform the activity, if it's a test system then you can make copy of SAP* user.
Moreover, it is not advised to use SAP* for day to day operations.
