Excellent. Thanks. So for every user we have to generate each user certificate for SSO. If there are thousands of users then thousands of cert to manage? Or there are other better ways?

Yes, this is the concept of certificate. Everyone has own. Usually certificate management is complex topic, handled by dedicated department in a company, which manages Certification Authority.

As far as I know, the SLC client is part of SAP SSO and should not be a free trial software. It can indeed achieve SNC seamless login through self signed x509,I have tested the implementation of Java ABAP single sign on through self signed x509, and I believe it still charges a fee?

how can we work for dialog intances with http certificates, they work on central instance and not in the dialoga, found the ASN is blank , should we ask for an alternate server name, is this snc issue? found notes but only mention web dispatcher is the solution. thanks wizzard sapdalf

Hi. I guess that you probably have Server Standard SSL certificate issued for the hostname of the primary application server. Then connecting to AAS with the same certificate you can get hostname mismatch. You can generate the certificate with SAN, but in my opinion WebDispatcher should be also considered.
