Apologies to my British and European fans. Between the "PlayStation TV" first being launched in the UK, and me just being an ignorant American, I totally forgot that both of y'all have different electrical plugs 😂
Having to apologize for such a minute thing shows how much today's society is a f-ed up snowflake. I'm European, but I don't give an F about what you call that plug. Also, Keeeen please do a short vid on that camcorder exported via HDMI ^^
As someone whose entire channel is named after k-on and who reviews iems and other audio stuff. Made me so happy to see that k-on cassette in the walkman. Also so happy to know that you are a k-on fan ken! Fuwa fuwa time!
Sony was so big in all A/V products back before the millennium. I remember wanting that record player which could even play the record while it stood up vertically. We all went to Shirokiya for our overdose of Sony products. Wow, that was a looooonng time ago.
My guy, with all due respect. Are you recording footage from an HDV camcorder with composite video? DV does not work the way you described it. It's a tape, yes, but it is digital video, not analog. You do not need to ingest the footage in real time. I used an HDV camcorder in film school too and you'd just plug it in with FireWire. Premiere and many other video editing suites have a dedicated ingest tool for among other things, DV video. As I recall it wouldn't be blazing fast or anything like the solid state media of today, but something like 40x realtime I think. You should definitely have a closer look at the DV/HDV format, it's pretty interesting, and I'd love to see the footage you shot in the native resolution of the camcorder! You should only need a FireWire cable to get the footage off it!
@@BaxBadger It's just sadly the case that people artificially enshittify their camcorders in order to give them "the retro vibe". These people have zero actual knowledge, they're just trendchasers.
Last video I watched of Denki, it unintentionally matched well with LTT's video on the Taiwan shopping centre, and both LTT and Denki's video featured a Sound Burger. A device I'd only seen in a Techmoan before now. OH and I think you are supposed to use than puck to keep the LP in place.
great, I hope more 7:55 "Weeb Hour" stuffs will be featured in the next video (K-ON, great taste dude!) 🤣 I think I'm going to get another retro unlocked flip phone from japan.
The US did get that Sharp phone....although the one in this video could be a different model.....i know they released more than one of them....but I did have that phone
Yoo, i have that cassette! My most prized anime weeb possession. Fun fact: the cassette is a replica of the one they recorded at the end of seasons 2. Some of the short audio sections between tracks can be seen recorded in the show.
Yea AQUOS phones pre-2020s were pretty cool. Most of them had that same bezel-less with-chin look coupled with advanced features for its time. Mine was an SH-M03 mini which had a 120Hz screen in freakin-2016! Wow that tape is really a fuwa-fuwa-time, I want one and is kinda tempting now. Handwritten-style cassette is a sweet detail.
Thats not a British power plug Thats called a type C power plug, used in Europe The british, UK plug is, Type G Mainly used in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore & the Arabian Peninsula
80$ for THAT walkman IS a lot... I had one in highschool with radio and Megabass and it cost me maybe 100 back then. That one is NOT on the same level, it's on a much lower level
i Havnt seen the anime but have played some of there songs on guitar. Rocksmith 2014 doesnt exist anymore but the custom dlc has loads of music from across the years.
I had the sharp aqueous crystal back in 2015 when sprint was still an existent terrible carrier. I loved the phone to a T but hated that I paid 90 a month from sprint for it. Ugh 😩
