Dude, I was in Orlando in the early 90s. I had a buddy that took me to one of his friend's stereo shops that did Shaq's Mercedes vert. They had to modify the seats to go back far enough for him to fit in. The Shaq's Van o deaf! Soon as you showed the superman logo I knew lol. I miss those days, but at the same time equipment is much more affordable now than when I was 18!

a local nor cal person has a slant nose porsche with 6 jl w6 v1s in it, we redid the wiring and tuned all the gains for it, super fun build. eclipse was about the best you could get, used to work rd for them and still use a 15 titanium as my home sub 20 years later
Shaq had a van walled off with 12 Critical Mass 15" subs and rf punch 200 amp per sub in car audio stereo review magazine and another van full of Audiobahn subs like in vid. He is probably the the one that does some of the loudest builds.
I think Paul wall and slim thug have systems as well in there slabs, Paul had some big DD audio subs in the trunk probably some 9915s with the new ribbed surrounds

Mostly decent looking installs and I’m sure they sound reasonably good on music. Yeah they probably aren’t going to win SPL or SQ comps, but for the intended purpose look pretty nice overall.

I don’t think Sundown audio was that big back then. Plus if you ever watched these shows on tv most of the time they were sponsored by the higher brands which was kicker and JL which were out for years. Sundown came out in 06 if I’m not mistaken.

There was one for sale last month here in salt lake City the guy only was asking 200 bucks for it. For Vanilla, if its a 15" its more than likely a Cerwin (its what hes mentioning at least in the conversation about the the lyrics in a few other vids as well). But its too hard to see, if its time period correct possibly a Stroker, even maybe a Stealth. I dont see a pink (or anything really) surround for an XL, but not sure. Could be anything lol. One day ill grab one, one of the few subs i never really "needed" just thought was cool. Im more of a collector of car audio than anything (i do swap my stuff in and out too often though lol its fun). The only real "holy grail" i still need is a Phoenix Gold Cyclone....but they are ridiculously priced still and almost certainly non functional. Ill look at all my gear ince in awhile and think "this stuff...why do i collect it?!? Its so expensive and takes up so much room!! Then ill look at marketplace/ebay and buy more. 😆😆😆

JL and Kicker are shitty retail box brands. Any body really serious about car audio does not run this stuff unless it is for free from the manufacturer to sponsor their car because they are some kind of celebrity.
I hope this video is not a all around representation of this youtubers platform. How do you compare a sound system that you cannot hear.? There was barely any tech talk of what they had inside (power plant). Thumbs down for me.
