Which rapper has the loudest car stereo? (Ludacris, post Malone, quavo, snoop dogg, Shaq?!)

- My first reaction video, not something I plan to do often but lmk what you think!
I apologize for the rough audio in spots. The first time it got struck, I had to remove the background music from the cut scenes.
If you have any other clips of rappers showing their setups off, send them to bangbro4000 on instagram

Bro you're literally manifesting the aura of car audio zines and digitizing them for today. There's products stuck in the memories of oldheads from manufacturers so far gone being brought back to light
Shaq counts as a musician/rapper he has collaborated on some edm/dubstep songs
@@thechanchanman147 he actually had a few real rap songs and collabs. Sounds pretty good too lol
Shaq - I Know I Got Skillz is a good track off his Shaq Diesel album, dates back to 1993.
He has a song with Gawne.... It's actually impressive. But dropped whole albums in the 90s... ShaqFu.... I'm a loser because I still remember that ish
Bro come on, you haven't seen the system that Steve Meade built for the rapper with the two custom Rockford Fosgate/Tony DeAmore 15k amps in it??? Lol-ol-ol
He built it for the rapper Chicken, and it had 8 18" FI BTL's in it running on a couple of the Rockford T-15's.
Old news.. who doesn't know about that build?
Not sure what it has to do with this video..
Yo whens the fiberglass video coming out?
My eyes and my ears hurt I head a guy say one of the biggest sound systems ever then he showed me a wall of shallow mounts 🤦 smh lmao
You’re going places with this channel keep it up!
Man I really appreciate that! I’ve got more stuff coming for sure
The kicker amps IX (impulse)were entry level but clean... similar to say old school orion cobalt line. The Eclipse subs look to be titanium (because of the surround) I sold them as well as aluminums. Great video mixture and i dont know if you follow cabe sipes but custom audio reimagined is his channel and he was lead fabricator to all pimp my ride builds, check his RUclips out, he has a couple starter videos that show the old builds from pimp my ride with Xzibit;)
@@scottkeller87 I’d about bet they were Korean made. It’s funny, Korean amps back then were looked at as cheap. Compared to usa made. But now they’re some of the best lol.
And I hadn’t heard of him, I’ll check him out now. Thanks man
J audio boi........He dont even know what the fuck he bought lmao that was great!!!
Shaq used to sponsor critical mass ul12. Subwoofers. That was during their prime.
Snoop is running sundown in one of his builds
0:37... probably something from Audiobahn going off of the chrome flame grille.
7:24 they sold “west coast custom audio” at Best Buy a few years ago but I never got a chance to hear any in person.
Dude, I was in Orlando in the early 90s. I had a buddy that took me to one of his friend's stereo shops that did Shaq's Mercedes vert. They had to modify the seats to go back far enough for him to fit in. The Shaq's Van o deaf! Soon as you showed the superman logo I knew lol. I miss those days, but at the same time equipment is much more affordable now than when I was 18!
@@neilhanley3468 that’s so cool. It’s crazy he’s so big every vehicle needs to be modified for him lol. It seems like amps are way cheaper now. I will say I specifically remember my friend in 2006, getting an FI BTL for $470 shipped. Which seems cheap but I guess after inflation it’s about the same for nowadays
equipment is more affordable now?tell me where you live and i'm moving there.
@@donchez7512Well, maybe more choices in amps that are cheaper in a sense that it’s not $1/ watt anymore like it was before. You can find some really decent amps for way cheaper or even older models used
All these video clips were quite a few years ago and back then JL and RF was at the top.
Yep, they still technically are. As far as company revenue goes
Wasn’t it Shaq that had the 1st electrostatic setup in a vehicle!? Not sure if there was subs in that system or not though.
West coast customs didn’t really have their own products for awhile, I remember they released amps at one point but they were just MB Quarts
I got 8 of the JLAudio 12's TW1'S seem to do me ok although the amps could do with tuning got 2 of the jlaudio 1000m's 👍✌
Yeah me too 😂 I used to watch pimp my ride just to wait for the car audio portion lol.
@@1ohmwrecker do you remember when the jackhammer vid first posted? They whipped out the db meter and it about didn’t break 140. Even then I was like wtf are they doing 😂
@Bangbro4000 oooh yeah I remember that! 🤣
I meant to send this comment when you first uploaded it, then *BAM* gone. I figured it was copy write.
For Vanilla, if its a 15" its more than likely a Cerwin (its what hes mentioning at least in the conversation about the the lyrics in a few other vids as well). But its too hard to see, if its time period correct possibly a Stroker, even maybe a Stealth. I dont see a pink (or anything really) surround for an XL, but not sure. Could be anything lol. The gray/silver is a protective grill/frame. And yeah A RF Power 650 was the model hes mentioning.
The Kicker IX were Impulse, they were the 90's 'budget" Kicker line, but pretty good still.
Eclipse subs.
As far as Fat Joe, most of these guys never even drove these rides lol. Let alone knew or cared what was in them. They just bought them to have them, because thats just what a lot of these guys did.
Posts Addictive audio setup...im sure it sounded great. But meh.
Alpine MRV (v12)
That Tesla build, those Illusion Audio components are awesome. Definitely Jl subs, but being painted "custom" And saying west coast subs probably before a switch up or saying it to get the name out there.
For Beebs, def JL TW's, I bet that system sounded practically perfect. No need for W-7's. I mean...its a Rolls...sweet.
The first Shaq system... i 100% guarantee he was told "these Kickers sound awesome and are top of the line!' "the price tag is $50k" lol. What a waste lolol.
And you can like what you like (of course) but Audiobahn barring a few models, was never good lol. All style (as long as you like chrome) and no substance. Those are the AW's.
Solo x 18" awesome..except the coils. The terrible weak point on every model of the original Solo X.
Over all though, cool vid. Even being a compilation of stuff its nice to see at least an original idea (in fact most of your vids are pretty decent, so keep it up!), in a sea of monotonous D4S dyno's, reviews of every single budget sub ever, and Sundown/Skar comparisons!
@@imawesomeyourenot man I appreciate the write up! And kind words for my videos. I don’t watch anyone else, so I’m hoping I can make some unique content.
All I can really see is the grill on vanillas. I was thinking it could be like a branded grill paired with the same brand sub. Idk when it was built but I do feel it was newer rather than back when he was popular. I forgot about power series. I thought, 500a2, 700a2.
I’d say the 3rd sx amp was 850.4. Those weee Korean where the kx were China, I think?
I would LOVE to know what they paid. I bet it’s so inflated. Better yet I’d love to be the one selling and installing for these guys 😂 some good money to be made there.
@@imawesomeyourenot I’ve got some solo x 18’s with upgraded coils, you may have seen the vid. I can’t wait to play with them.
@@Bangbro4000 Oh i bet the shops squeezed every penny they could from these guys!! But at least the installs ARE pretty good. I got a kick out of the ridiculous Ford though. He lifts up the false floor, and im like "maaaaan, they couldn't have painted the underside black too!?!" Lol 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Anyways like i said, keep up the great vids!
@@imawesomeyourenot lmao they skimped on a few parts. I noticed I can see bare mdf around the Ix amps too
@@Bangbro4000 I remember my brother and i going to the local shop when they (Solo X) came out. The 18" was just amazing. Never seen a sub like it before. One day ill grab one, one of the few subs i never really "needed" just thought was cool. Im more of a collector of car audio than anything (i do swap my stuff in and out too often though lol its fun). The only real "holy grail" i still need is a Phoenix Gold Cyclone....but they are ridiculously priced still and almost certainly non functional. Ill look at all my gear ince in awhile and think "this stuff...why do i collect it?!? Its so expensive and takes up so much room!! Then ill look at marketplace/ebay and buy more. 😆😆😆
I'd love to see you do a video on doing fiberglass boxes and door panels its something ive recently started looking into myself
@@Valverde713 I’ll do it then within the next few months. I’ve never seen anyone else make one, so I taught myself. Idk if it’s how other people do it but I do think it’s a really good method
Agreed hate shallow mount subs but dam I bet that sounded good! Great video!
@@neilholland4427 thanks man! And especially those particular models. I always thought they looked ugly lol
Could you find anything on 50 cents systems ? I know him and Skar audio did something a couple years back
Clarion pro audio also made a metal wok looking speaker
I don’t rememeber those. They were top of the line back in the day
Thats Lloyd Banks Gunit.
Gotta have that Jay audio lmfao
I meannn it says the brand right on the cone lol. The L is a whole half of it
@@Bangbro4000 they can afford to forget the L lol. But the g unit was trying to flaunt only one w7 in the hummer. For a hummer just one w7 they not ballin.
Luda had clarion amps. I ran a class T 1000.1 monoblock from crutchield
@@clearme2 the old clarion amps were REALLY good
@@clearme2 i alway forget about the top tier stuff Clarion was making back in the day. Lots and lots of great gear...and its weird that you hardly ever see it floating around second hand. I wonder why?
@@imawesomeyourenot I’d like to get my hands on one. They were a solid amp putting out great power. Class T was not used much after these came out
id say lebrons hummer was pretty loud there was a show called unique whips they built it on there cant 100% remember what it had but i wanna say 4 w7s
❤
One of the best Car Audio RUclips Channels!
Come to the Odin Firemans Picnic Sound Off 2025!!!
I can't believe Posty has them junk knockoff JL's. Addictive Audio makes the worst sub I've ever owned. And I've owned some pyles.
Mostly decent looking installs and I’m sure they sound reasonably good on music. Yeah they probably aren’t going to win SPL or SQ comps, but for the intended purpose look pretty nice overall.
@@621ELECTRONICS yep. I wish I knew what they paid for them lol. I bet some of the rich people installers inflate prices so much
@@Bangbro4000 For sure would be very interesting to know the cost of these installs. I agree, the price probably gets inflated by quite a bit when it's a rich / famous person having it done.
@bangbro4000 You missed Shaqs Cadillac Deville!
Damn where can I find that?
More money than brains😅 they selling them shallow drivers and or fiberglass boxes with way to small cu ft..
Homie, those subs in Snoop s Laker car are the Solo X 12 s. Way different then the L5 , L7 s
@@robfalkner4303 broooo that’s in no way true. They would have an X on the center dustcap lol. I know bc I have 8 of them in the house. The red and white solo baric logo was on the L7’s and 5’s
Wrong. They are L'7S. 😂
@@Bangbro4000you are correct. He is clueless.
I thought Shaq had a critical mass setup in one of his rides years ago
@@tommymartini34 I’m pretty he did, they used that same ad for yeaaarsss. I couldn’t find a video though. Let alone pics
Busta had Fosgate Power series subs
Any info where I can find that?
"bang bro", huh? 😂
@@definitelynotjasonmomoa ohhhhh yes lol
Those fosgate subs in the lambo were power series. You said p2 or p3. Those were power series not punch series
Power t1 I believe.
Cerwin Vega?
Misfit 650 power. 89 to 92
@@williamjames5624 I had forgot about the power line. It’s crazy how much they go for on eBay
Dig your videos bro, totally agree…Snoop Dogg has L7s 🤣😂
@@blackbricktahoe haha man I appreciate that so much! Someone said he has a new one with sundowns
@@Bangbro4000 - you’re welcome bro. I bet Snoop does. I appreciate your content as I’m guessing we are fairly close to the same age.
those are not l7 those are the solobraics diffrent model they was also know as the the eddy bower solobraics
They are still an L7 . The fact you said that is hilarious. Look them up if you think otherwise. They are a kicker L7 solobaric. 😂
Rockford Fosgate Power 650 is one of the most famous amplifiers ever made
Shit I completely forgot about the powers lol. I was thinking of the A2’s. thought 500a2, 700a2, no 650. But you’re right
How come none of them have sundown ?
I don’t think Sundown audio was that big back then. Plus if you ever watched these shows on tv most of the time they were sponsored by the higher brands which was kicker and JL which were out for years. Sundown came out in 06 if I’m not mistaken.
@@Gnik4144 oh makes sense
I seen one rapper that has skar audio in his car but he might have ben sponsored
Skar is good to me tho
Sweet shirt
@@stormyyoung6344 thanks man, I love buying cool shirts from SHEIN or Temu lol. Just something different
@Bangbro4000 whats your favorite oldschool brand? 😊
@@Alextheampguy maannnn. Idk lol. It may be Orion.
