- Let filmmaker and photographer Tom Pearsall open your heart and mind to this amazing surf zone. The filmmaker would like to acknowledge the Wadandi Pibelmen people, traditional owners of the Boojarah land on which this film was shot, edited, and finished, and pays respect to elders past, present, and emerging. Out Front is a Surfline original series celebrating core surf communities worldwide, and their unique wavescapes, culture, and people, through the eyes of great local filmmakers. Epic, Lived in Margies for 10 years. This took me back. Felt strange to see 2 friends no longer with us. Thanks Tom. Should have included footage of Big Al going over the falls somewhere though.
Pretty awesome piece of film-making...
The instrumental starting 3:40 was the bit i liked best of the track, "Space Case" by O Zom. The guitar playing starting 5:50 stikes a chord with me too. Superb wave scenery thanks.

Avalon point is the best surf break. 40 minutes south of Perth. ‘Locals’ ( old people from England) are very friendly and happy to share waves
