I thought Honestly brutal Abe was good for Zombie mode because he can dominate the world while having a zombie defense force at home and in your conquered territories.
Idk if its mentioned but the citizens lose happiness per plantations because slavery happened on plantations typically (obviously in other places but cotton plantations and all that) and since he frees the slaves (spoilers) his citizens aren't happy to have plantations because someone's gotta harvest it. That's my assumption at least, my history is real fuzzy
I think this is pretty good. North didn’t want slave labour and plantations ran using slave labour. I would like a free casus belli whenever I meet a player with a plantation now 😅
@@megamax898 If you don't pillage before conquering, that's on you. Of course if it rebels, you can take it back and maybe the second time you'll get around to pillaging.
apologies for the noob question, what setting or mod gives the banners under the leaders pictures with their civ yields? this seems like handy info to have.

The -2 loyalty from plantations is a reference to Lincoln abolishing slavery
Maybe they could have removed the minus 2 loyalty when you discover combustion to make better farm equipment that doesn’t complain.
@@megamax898 Yeah, its a nice reference, but has no real impact on 99% of games so I don't even consider not improving tiles into plantations
