Accepting the first offer sometimes leads to a strong and long term partnership, if you know he or she is giving you a reasonable and trustworthy offer. If your conterpart begins to see you as a tough negotiater, the relatioship is becoming rather one time deal, or perhaps harsh and unpleasant which eventually becomes a kind of zero-sum relationship. So, it all depends on the situation as I feel.
I am terrify of public speaking or interviews, i lost the chance to advance in the company i work fo because of that. When they asked me a question i become stiff and can not talk . Can't overcome this at all, don't know where to start. And now that i found you i think i can learn some answers, gestures, body language, tono of voice. Very helpful. Thank you. I will watch all your videos . I really need help with my social terrors.

Really enjoyed this, the salami was one that I wouldn't have been looking for too consciously previously. Think I stand in pretty good shape on all of the others in most of my negotiations
Succinct rules that are practical and very important. I use them in my negotiations--or I should. The video is a great reminder, which we should watch before we go for a negotiation. Perhaps everyday, actually, since we negotiate everyday. Excellent! Thanks, Alan.
Some poignant points in there. Wonder if the 'No Free Gifts' is always relevant: think that may be dependent on the industry sector / type of client or customer you have. But on the whole some great insights. Thanks
This is should be required watching for all women! I have been working with them for over 10 years to motivate them to make more than 78¢ to every $1 a man makes!!! There are 5 techniques that are designed just for women. -Michelle
