    I love how you don't waste a bit of space, and how you have such a handy husband! I keep all of my old journals, most are in boxes or an old trunk. I've been work journaling for over 20 years and I keep those related to my current position within reach of my desk in my office/craft room, for reference, but all the others are packed away. For personal journals, they're packed away if I've finished them but that's a very small percentage of my total journal population. I also keep really old journals that were written in spiral notebooks, removed from the spirals, in binders with sheet protectors. I do the same with notes from/to friends (I was a little odd and would write rough drafts of notes to friends if it was an important topic) I've saved from school, which is kind of journaling, especially since I've lost a lot of the journals I kept during that time. I would love to see and display everything, if only my husband could build shelves!

      Thanks Huckie for sharing! I hope to store as many of mine in eye sight if possible, but I may have to uncover/uncase them for it to work. I'm hoping to get my husband to put up my shelf today, fingers crossed. Lol. All that your husband can't build, you can probably find an already built version of it...will probably cost more though. If so, maybe just buy in sections as money allows. Good luck! ♥️

    I love the way you have everything organized. I could get some crafting done with all the stuff you have but right now I’m in to glue booking. I really love to watch you gluebook. Thanks for sharing your tips with us. ❤️❣️

      Thank you Lynda! I love glue booking, too. I've been mostly collaging lately though. Trying to dig myself out of a motivation rut. 🤪

    Thank you for sharing your room. It’s a lot of work to do a craft room tour! So thank you for that! I really enjoyed it. And… I got great ideas for how to do shelves.

    Love your space and that you are maximizing your wall space. As far as labeling.. I am the same.. I have to label Almost everything especially if I don’t get into it everyday and it takes away from opening every drawer to find one thing 😅lol I’m working on a craft room tour too to get back into things. New Subbie. Happy Weekend 💕 Eve

      Thanks Barbara! See below. Word of caution, you can sign up to get all kinds of magazines (I signed up for about 10+). I think it took about 2 months for me to get the first one. After that the flood gates opened and I was getting about 4 - 5 a month! Lol. Good luck! ♥️

    I really enjoyed watching this! If you don’t mind sharing, what program or app do you use to edit your videos?

    • @tamsjournals1072
      @tamsjournals1072  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much Judith for watching. I really appreciate it. I have downloaded so many different apps; but the one that I have continued to return to is the one that came on my computer when I bought it (10+ year ago), the Microsoft Video Editor. I use it to edit and the Microsoft Movie Editor to cancel out background noise. I hope this helps. I think your videos are clear and the sound is very good. Good luck.

    Thank you for sharing. 😘
    But I don't think it's nicely sorted. I've seen hundreds of videos about it. That's much better. You could sort it out in more detail so it looks a little more harmonious, you know? Everything seemed very restless. No offense meant, just a suggestion.
    It's a very nice room and the layout is nice, just not nicely sorted. I would have a lot of ideas. Maybe I'll start making videos soon

    • @tamsjournals1072
      @tamsjournals1072  Год назад

      Hello Marina. Thanks for stopping by and your comments have been duly noted. Three things though:
      1. We are all different in thinking, doing, and understanding; which makes us all wonderfully unique. I constantly reiterate that what works for me may not work for someone else and therefore I've never asked anyone to take my way of doing things as their own personal standard. Do what works for you.
      2. This tour video was meant to share, not compare. I am not now, nor ever, expecting or striving to make my space resemble someone else's. This video was to genuinely share my craft room with those who were/are interested in seeing it.
      3. Despite what you have expressed, please know that I am loving my craft room!! I love my current arrangements and how things are sorted. I am not restless in my space and spend more time in my craft room than I do anywhere else in my home. And on the contrary, it is where I find the most rest and peace.
      Finally, as you consider sharing your craft room, I would encourage you to make it your own and no one else's so that it is perfectly and uniquely suited to fit you and you alone. Good luck!
