No, I had no idea you could do this in Michigan. Is it only available in the spring with the winter runoff? In my younger days, I went white water rafting several times on the Monongahela and Cheat Rivers in West Virginia and it was Class 3-5 waves. My first few experiences were amazing but the last time I ever went I dragged my fiance (now husband of almost 25 years) along with me and the guides purposefully dumped us in one of the rapids. It was terrifying and they thought it was super funny. That was my last experience with white water rafting. The guides definitely make or break your experience. So glad you guys had a good one!
